Lakemont Academy

- very high teacher turnover - I saw a teacher very roughly putting a toddler in his chair which I reported to the director. - sent home a candy bar with nuts to my son who had a severe allergic reaction (they have his allergies on file) - for kids with allergies, I found out my son was having canned pears and cucumbers for lunch without any protein offered which is unacceptable - hallway carpet is very dirty + classrooms are clean + some of the teachers are great like Ms. Becca but most others were just there to babysit and didn’t seem to care too much. The kids treated the teachers like friends instead of grownups that they should respect. Overall, I would not put my child here unless he’s able to fend for himself. Even then, there are better options out there.

My two children (2 years and 3 years) have been attending Lakemont Academy for a year now and we love it. The teachers have been brilliant and the curriculum and activities seem to be engaging and fun. There’s a real community feel and we have become friends with several other families who we see regularly in the local playgrounds after school. A huge plus for this place are the grounds which are set back from the road and surrounded by trees, the outdoor space is great so the kids are able to enjoy the outdoors over summer. Drop-off and pick-up is super easy with plenty of parking space. Thanks for creating a happy and safe learning/playing environment for our kids!

Our two year old loves Lakemont Academy. As soon as he walks through the door he’s so excited to see Ms. Gitta and the others. This is really what matters most. If my son is happy and safe then that is what’s most important. I love that they offer the children a variety of food. It has really helped our little one be more adventurous with different foods. Communication is great. The app provides updates during the day and an end of the day report so we know how long our child has napped and info on potty time, and email communications go out for any important information. My wife and I researched several other daycare options and Lakemont Academy I was affordable without skimping on the quality whatsoever. Love seeing that my son has the same smile at the end of the day, that he had when he walked in with in the morning. Thank you to all the staff!

We have been at Lakemont Academy for the last year and have loved it! My daughter is 3 and I'm blown away by the things she has learned here. The teachers are loving and keep the kids super busy with fun and educational activities. They have an app that keeps me updated with pictures and what's happening during the day, which I've appreciated. The Center Director Gitta is super caring and always helps my daughter transition happily into her day. My daughter often tells me that Miss Gitta is her best friend ❤️ We feel super lucky that we found Lakemont Academy and plan to stay here until we transition to Kindergarten.

My daughter has been going to Lakemont Academy since 2019 and she absolutely loves school and her teachers. Ms. Gitta and her staff have been wonderful and so supportive towards the growth of my toddler. We didn’t have the best experience w the childcare prior and Lakemont Academy has been a fresh of breath air for my family. We truly trust the staff and their expertise. My daughter will def be finishing her preschooling here. Def recommend!
