This is a great school. If you’re struggling with any classes they offer something called after hours that go from 3:20-4:30 with the teachers. It’s basically like free tutoring. Not only that but the teachers care about you in this school they’re not like any other teacher in a public school where they’re only there cause it’s their job. These teachers care about your future and wanna see you succeed. The only reason i’m giving four stars is because in my opinion it is a smaller school there’s not lots of people to socialize with instead it’s like a big family per say I attended Kensington wood schools thru 6th to 8th grade. Because it’s a smaller school you do get a lot more help so it’s a pro/con type of thing.
As a student of four years here at Kensington Woods, I cannot stress how much I love this school. Everyone knows each other here and the teachers always make sure us students are getting the right help needed. The little fun things we do here year round keeps me and many other students engaged in what we’re learning. The staff are super friendly and loving of each and every student. They’re always here for us and are very understanding if you’re stuck on something. I love this school so much and I’m glad to come here every day. All of the opportunities we have to make a difference is endless.
I've been going to KWoods for 3 years now, and it has been a great experience! The teachers are very nice and genuinely care about us students. Everyone here is welcoming and kind and everyone knows each other at this school. I love KWoods, and I'm staying here until I graduate.
This school is, although small, amazing. The teachers are very nice and smaller classes allow each student to receive more help and attention when needed. They have no tolerance for bullying and when I went here, I was amazed at how welcoming and safe the environment felt. I don’t think five stars is enough to describe how wonderful my experience was after switching to this school. I’d definitely recommend KWoods to kids/teens who need more help, either with disabilities/disorders, making friends, in classes, or with bullying.
Wish I was there :(. Better than my district. They get Half days and get out of school on may 27th.
