I tried to leave a review for Twin Lakes Elementary and it dose not show under google reviews. So here I will leave my review for Twin Lakes 272. I loved this school when my older child attended K-6. However over the years many things have changed. One of the biggest being the principal. She is not in the best interest of all the children. Just the ones that are easy. Anyone that brings a challenging situation to her attention is a problem. Specially if it requires her to do extra work. She needs to do a better job at overseeing her new teachers and their curriculum. If I was just going to base my review on her it would be negative stars. However this school like many others in the district still has an amazing team of teachers.
Lakeland used to be the school, the school everyone flocked to and wanted to be at, I grew up here and all of my kids have went here. The last few years has been a disaster! Teachers have changed for the worse and seem to be the bullies more than the children. John brown needs a serious administration adjustment!! The people running that school are not meant to teach children. They are a few teachers left who do care and (Mr Peterson is one of the good ones) but please avoid john brown if you can!!! lakeland schools alone are just not what they used to be.
My daughter had always been in the Lakeland school district. Timberlake High school experience should of been a wonderful time. Instead it became a nightmare. The bullying, the lies from teachers. I bet you don't even know about the handful of girls who got pregnant and were forced out of school. They had a choice. Go to Couer d alane or drop out.
Such a bad school district. They don't look into anything. They falsely accused Children of doing things they never did Even after there is video to prove the school district wrong. The school district still denies it. So if you want your child to be in a good school, do not use this school district. If you want your child to learn something of value, do not use this school District You want your child to grow up and have a job. Do not use the school District You want your child to grow up, be homeless. And Treat people badly. Then use this school.
