My family moved to Lexington a little over 2 years ago. My youngest granddaughter attended preschool at Lake Murray Baptist. It was a wonderful experience for her and all the events that involved parents & grandparents. The love, the kindness from teachers to staff was the reason I wanted to find more about this wonderful place. When my daughter & son in law started attendingvI decided to go along. If you are looking to find knowledge, understanding of our Lord and His word here is the place to be. Pastor David and the songs have had a effect on me. So thank you Lake Murray Baptist for opening hearts and arms to new people just trying to find their way. God Bless us all.
I want to comment on the character and pastoral leadership of lead pastor David. I have known him for many years and was apart of his previous church, and small geoup, in Summerville SC. We grew apart when he and his family moved to Lexington but then 5 years later my family also made the move. It took a few years but we recently reconnected and I am very thankful we did. If looking for a church family I would 100% reccomend trying Lake Murray Baptist.
