Lafontaine Early Learning Center

My son absolutely loves Lafontaine! He is always ready to go in the mornings and is learning so much. They are very hands on and send updates throughout the day with pictures. Taylor is a wonderful director and handles any concerns immediately. The Explorer teachers have been amazing and I feel like they treat my son as their own. You can tell they genuinely want what is best for the kids and we have seen it first hand. We are so thankful for Mrs. Emma and her love and care she gives our boy. It makes my momma heart so happy to know he is in good hands and it truly happy while at daycare ❤️

I will never be able to say enough good things about LaFontaine. Every teacher has been absolutely wonderful to us and our baby girl! Taylor does an incredible job communicating news through Brightwheel. Haley, Deanna, Kelsey, and Kayla have given us so much peace and joy through our work day with the care they give our baby girl. They are attentive, engaging, and wonderful teachers! Our baby has grown to love daycare and is absolutely thriving in her environment (thanks to the teachers doing a stunning job). HIGHLY recommend LaFontaine for childcare!

My son joined the Seekers program at 9 months old, and as a first-time mom, I was understandably nervous. But LaFontaine has been incredible in every way and has made this whole experience so easy for us. One of the things I appreciate most is the staff’s consistency—it’s always the same familiar faces welcoming us at drop-off, which makes a huge difference for my son and for me. They’re fantastic with communication, sending snapshots and little updates throughout the day, so I always know he’s safe, happy, and engaged in fun activities. Additionally, the center itself is beautiful and clean. LaFontaine has truly made balancing work and parenthood easier, and I couldn’t ask for a better experience for my little guy!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Lafontaine Early Learning. From the moment we stepped through the doors, we knew we had found a special place for our daughter. The staff is incredibly warm, caring, and nurturing. They've created a stimulating and loving environment where my daughter thrives. I'm constantly impressed by their dedication to child development. The activities, lessons, and attention to each child's individual needs are exceptional. My daughter comes home every day beaming with excitement about her day. I feel such peace of mind knowing she's in such good hands. Thank you for providing such amazing care!

LaFontaine ELC at Duncannon has helped us raise one and are in the process of helping with the second one! We have had a phenomenal experience with all of the teachers and staff. Currently, we have a 1.5 year old in the Navigators program. He is learning so much socially, academically, and emotionally! We get so many pictures throughout the day of our little one learning which is so good and comforting to see as well!! His teacher, Ms. Ann Page, loves our boy so much and we can tell. She is genuinely excited to see him and tell us things he has accomplished during his day. She is an excellent communicator and lets us know everyday how much she loves her job and our boy. Overall, we definitely, and easily, give the ELC at Duncannon a 5 star review! The only area in which there could be improvement would be an earlier drop off time (7:15 is early drop off), which is out of the control of the director or teachers, who are all fabulous!!
