Department if Labor and Industry? And they have no real person answering calls to help real people? Just an answering machine? This is what our taxes, OUR LABOR AND INDUSTRY pay for? Great to know when the working folk need help, at least answering machines will be there for us.
The user interface of the system can be confusing and overwhelming, especially for first-time users. I applied for benefits in Florida, but the process took over 10 weeks. When I realized I needed to file in Pennsylvania, it took another 3+ weeks to withdraw my Florida application. To make things worse, wait times in Florida can be anywhere from 2-3 hours. On a good day, you might get offered a callback, but that can take another 3 hours. And even then, the callback might not happen at all. In contrast to my experience in Florida, the employees in Pennsylvania have been incredibly helpful and supportive throughout this difficult process. I would like to thank each and every one of them for their hard work, dedication, and compassion. However, I must deduct one star from my rating due to the complexity of the program and the multiple portals that need to be navigated. During an already stressful time, the system can be unnecessarily difficult to understand and use. Despite this minor setback, I want to express my sincere gratitude to the employees in Pennsylvania for their outstanding service. They truly care about their fellow Pennsylvanians and go above and beyond to assist those in need. I know this is a frustrating time for all and I am in the foxhole with you. The system may need improvement but the people are fantastic!! I appreciate you PA EMPLOYEES!!!!

Never can get through to a human. Call all day for months on end and still nothing. Then I finally thought I got through one day and it was an automated message that hung up on me. No options, no help. Their live chat feature is also down and has been offline for almost a year now! Fix this issue, it’s not my fault the government shut everything down and my place of employment had to close permanently. I haven’t gotten anything in 6 months and nothing before that for at least 4 months. RIDICULOUS.
I have filed successfully for my Extended Benefits 3 weeks in a row, and no money has been sent to me! Everything was fine before the new year, and now nothing! I’ve tried calling 1000’s of times, and it’s always busy. And I’ve tried chat for countless hours, and I’m always told their too busy. Can someone please help??? PLEASE!!!
