We love La Petite Academy of Tyrone! The staff and teachers are loving and kind, and we're so grateful we can have our son in the best care center for youngsters in the area. We toured many facilities before choosing LPA, and they were the only school where we felt the teachers really seemed happy to be there, loving, and engaged with the children. The children are generally happy and inviting in our son's class as well. Highly recommend a tour if you think it might meet your family's needs.
La Petite of Tyrone is full of teachers and staff who truly care about the children. It isn’t perfect, no place is, but they deserve 5 stars because they are constantly striving for better. If you spend the time to get to know the teachers and admin, you really feel the love that they give your children. If you participate, you will get so much out of La Petite. The live camera feeds are so helpful, especially for first time parents jitters, or if you’re just looking for a peek at your child for a mid-day pick-me-up. Teachers my child (and I) love: Ms. Lily, Ms. Elizabeth, and Ms. Michelle (these 3 are infant 1), Ms. Tharshini (infant 2), Ms. Mariah (Toddlers). Other wonderful staff members include Ms. Meesha, Ms. Julia, and Ms. Danita. Main takeaway: get to know the staff, they will become family. If there is a problem, they will work to fix it. If they forget, they are humans, remind them. Communication is key. Also, they provide meals, diapers, wipes, and love for your children. Edit: Some time has passed since my original review. I maintain that the staff here has such love and passion for the children and their wellbeing. Kari is a standout wonderful person and great mentor for the toddlers. She will go to the end of the earth for your child.
We toured lots of locations and La Petite was not only the most affordable option we found but also the best! The biggest thing we wanted was staff members and teachers who LOVE kids. Surprisingly, I didn’t feel like I found that anywhere else. The lovely clean facilities/playground and real education our child is receiving is a bonus! We’ve been fans for almost a year now. I hope the vibe of love and kindness here never changes!
Both of my kids attend this daycare. The teachers in the infant and the preschool classes are amazing. They keep the kids busy with activities. Preschool is structured and keeps the kids on task. My three year old is learning phonics, Spanish, and his vocabulary has grown. They do a wide range of activities, such as arts and crafts, music, building, writing, and sensory. The infant teachers are attentive and caring. The camera system is a plus, I can watch my kids at any time.
Perfect school my daughter loves the school and the staff . As a Parent I really cherish this school because the staff is outstanding, they are very friendly and kind also I love knowing my child is safe and I can check in on her anytime throughout the day love this school and definitely the staff is outstanding.
