We are so incredibly grateful for this daycare. The communication is truly the best—I always feel heard, and confident that my child is being cared for with intention and love. The staff members amazing. Miss Autumn genuinely treats my daughter like their own. You can feel how much she cares, and that kind of trust is priceless as a parent. My daughter has been here for almost two years, and the growth I’ve seen in her emotionally and socially has been incredible. She feels safe, loved, and excited to be there, which gives me such peace of mind every single day. Knowing she is in such good hands means everything to our family. I can’t recommend this daycare enough 🤍

I am just so disappointed with my son’s time here. This was the first school setting he ever had and he had a hard time adjusting. The 2 year old classroom staff did a good job of comforting him and holding him to get him through the hurtle of getting comfortable, but after a while we started noticing a notable amount of scratches, bumps, lumps, and bruises. I addressed it immediately and was told he scratched himself with his own sippy cup. The day I picked him up and he had two huge lumps on his forehead, I was told he was dropped off like that, which was a lie. They told me they call the 2 year old room “the violent room”. It was to where I had a folder on my phone with photos of all his bumps and scratches. I started noticing at drop offs sobbing kids not getting comforted, kids biting and it not being addressed, the front separating door propped open every other time I was there. The majority of the staff there are a bunch of early 20 something’s that do not want to be there. There is blatant favoritism among the kids as many of the staff have their kids in the classrooms so they seem to get specific attention. Every single time I picked him up I would ask how his day went and the answer was that the teacher that was with him the whole day is no longer there and left no notes. I asked his teacher how his behavior is and I was told that “he is terrible, but they are all terrible”. I asked for specifics and I was just told that he is grumpy. He was so sweet, kind, and gentle when he started there. It finally hit me that this is a terrible environment and I unenrolled him immediately. I am pissed at myself that it took me 7 months to realize. I enrolled him in a more promising school nearby and HOLY COW the difference is blaring. He has been there for 2 months and has learned so much. I literally cannot think of one thing he learned while at La Petite for 7 months but 2 months into a new school and he is learning so much at such a quick speed. The issue is they are saying he has behavioral issues with pushing and hitting which I feel is a direct result of the environment that is cultivated at La Petite. I am now needing to get him in behavioral therapy. Another person reviewing this school has said the same thing, that they now need therapy to unlearn the social skills this business allows to be learned. Another thing I noticed and didn’t realize wasn’t normal is my son SMELLED every single day he came home from La Petite. Some type of musty, cleaner, perfume smell that was terrible. The entire 7 months at La Petite, he was upset being dropped off, I had to peel him off me to leave and he would cry sometimes. Zero exaggeration, literally from day 1 at the new school he will run off with friends and be happy and laughing when dropping off. It’s a day a night difference. La Petite is not a school, it is a bunch of 20 year olds trying to get through their shift.

My children attended this daycare for over 2 years. First, let me give the positive. Ms Jessie was great with my kids, always treated them kindly and with respect. And my children loved her. She's awesome! Ms Jennifer, who was previously the assistant director, was also amazing with my children, and we were sad to see her go last year. Also, my younger child made lots of friends and was overall happy at this daycare. They do get lots of time to play outside, although at times I think their days lacked structure. As a preschool program, I thought they would focus a little more on learning new things, and not as much on free play. My school aged child was never really happy there, mainly because there are a couple of long-standing staff members there that, in my opinion, just aren't great with kids. There were several instances over the years where my child informed me that staff members were less than nice to the kids. My child would say "The teachers act nice when parents are around, but they're not nice and yell all the time when parents leave." There is one staff member in particular that said things to my child like "Your mom thinks you're a little angel, but you're not" or "Your sister behaves better than you". She once put her finger into my child's chest when talking to him, and grabbed his arm another time. I'm not okay with my child being spoken to this way, or with an adult putting their hands on my child in any way shape or form, unless it is to keep them from getting hurt. I did voice my concerns, every time, with the previous director, Connie. It seemed that she would continuously shift the blame to my child, and said she would speak to the staff member, but it only made it worse. On one occasion, after Connie addressed my concerns with said staff member, the staff member approached my child about the situation, in essence calling him a liar. This is a staff member that has been employed by La Petite for over 20 years, she should know not to approach a child about a concern that a parent has brought up against her. I ended up switching my children to another program, and let La Petite know we would only need care on certain school breaks, which was agreed to. With my older child not enjoying coming to this daycare, I did not want to do this, but really had no other option. But, then, I was told they actually don't have room for my children for "drop in" care, that I would need to call and check each time I need care. I am disappointed that after attending for over 2 years, my children don't even have their spots saved for school breaks. But, maybe it is for the best.

So ive been involved with this child care goin on. 3 years now and I gotta say at first I was a bit hesitant and reserved with my kids coming here but all in all the staff has reassured me time after that things would be fine an always addressed everything every time. Staff I mean miss kristen and miss donna and miss Annette. Theses lady’s have been great to my kids and I’ll continue to come here as long and we need there assistance. Theses lady’s fact we as parents can keep a watchful eye on the cameras and an open line of communication always with the staff! Thanks for being here for us and your continued work!

This daycare overall is a joke. They do not have the best interest for your children. The director kristen is Beyond stressed, she has people working for her That don't even have their teachers license NOr their early children education license. Yet she tells the parents that they do! One teacher In particular.... Renee WAS verbally abusive to my child and dramatically change Him as a person. he is spiteful, he is angry. He is nothing that he used to be when he started there. Going through multiple different therapies highly recommend you run from this center. If you have hopes for a better future for your child. And you love them dearly. Don't even walk into this place.
