It was such a pleasure meeting with the director at La Petite. She was very welcoming, down to earth, honest, very informative, and professional. I absolutely admire the relationship she has with her staff and especially the children. You can tell she doesn’t just sit behind the desk but she interacts with her staff and children.She made my visit an amazing time. She was able to answer every question I had and made me very comfortable. She was able to explain and show the curriculum they use as well as how they help children adapt to their learning styles. In 2022, my only son started in the Twos program, and this past May (2025) he graduated from their Pre-K class. Watching his growth over these years has been such a blessing. When he started Kindergarten in August, he was already writing his name, counting to 50, recognizing letters and sounds, and even doing simple math like 1+1 and 2–1 — all thanks to the wonderful foundation built here. What really sets this place apart is the people. The staff isn’t just amazing educators — they’re real, down-to-earth, loving humans. They have busy days, just like anyone else, but you can always feel how much they truly care for the children. They show patience, kindness, and genuine love in everything they do, and it’s clear that every child matters to them. I’m beyond grateful that we found this school when we did. It’s been such a safe, happy, and nurturing environment for my son. I’ve also heard the infant program is outstanding — some even say it’s the best on this side of Birmingham! Thank you all for pouring so much heart into what you do every single day. You’ve made a lasting difference in our lives. ❤️
Logan is on his second week on La petite Pelham, I'm so happy with all the staff, his teacher Shardea is awesome, I thought will take much more time for him adapt but he is already doing so good, we have all the informations on the app, live cameras. Thank you La petite pelham <3
La Petite has been good to our family. We appreciate the effort they put in with our child and the other children attending there as well. Mrs. Sheta and Shardonnay have been very helpful in each transition to the next class. Everything hasn't been perfect but that's because nobody is. They are always willing to hear us out and actually act upon suggestions made to help make it easier on us and them as well.
My nephew just loves Ms. Shardonay — he calls her “super cool,” and I have to agree! She’s detailed, attentive, and the entire staff matches her energy. Watching him go from shy and quiet to well-spoken, intelligent, and confident has been such a joy. Thank you to Ms. Shardonay and the whole staff for pouring into these babies and helping them grow into superstars.
