La Petite academy in Oceanside is unsurpassed in quality of student education, teachers, and enrichment. They are not just creating a quality school... They are creating Ladies and Gentlemen. Our 4 year old son loves going to school each day. He is challenged mentally with math and spelling (yes even at this age!!) has lots of outdoor physical exercise, and always has an art project to bring home. I have never felt so confident in his readiness for kindergarten and beyond. I interviewed and toured 7 different schools before choosing La Petite. If you meet Miss Susie, the Principal of La Petite, you will know through her that you have found the perfect school for your child. They hold each child to very high standards. They are taught manners, respect for teachers and fellow students, rules and procedures, and how to work together with other children and adults. If you are lucky enough to find a spot at this wonderful school, you will see your child evolve and thrive! I never worry about my son while he is at school. The safety, hygiene, and communication protocols are the best available. We LOVE La Petite and will truly miss it when my son outgrows it!

We were extremely impressed with our experience at La Petite Academy. Our three-year-old son struggled with separation anxiety during his first week, and the staff was incredibly thoughtful—finding gentle, creative ways to distract him and help him adjust. Every teacher we interacted with was warm, welcoming, and clearly invested in the children. We were also impressed by the balance of learning and enrichment. Many of the three-year-olds demonstrated strong early writing skills, while still enjoying sweet, hands-on activities like planting zinnias and creating lots of art. During our first week, the school even hosted an art showcase so students could share their work with their parents, which was a lovely touch. Overall, La Petite Academy has been a wonderful experience and a great daycare option

We couldn’t be happier with our experience at La Petite! From the moment you walk in, you can feel how warm, welcoming, and genuinely caring the entire staff is. The teachers go above and beyond every single day—learning each child’s personality, celebrating their little milestones, and creating such a safe and joyful environment. Ms. Lisset, Ms. Miranda, Ms. Susie, and Ms Renee, just to name a few, were absolutely wonderful!! Our child has grown so much socially, emotionally, and academically since starting here. The activities are thoughtful and fun, the communication with parents is excellent, and the classroom feels like a second home. I love seeing the photos and updates throughout the day—it’s so reassuring to know our little one is not just being cared for, but truly loved. The facility is clean, organized, and full of engaging materials that keep the kids excited to learn and explore. Drop-off is always smooth because our child runs in with a huge smile—what more could a parent ask for? If you’re looking for a daycare where your child will thrive, feel safe, and be surrounded by amazing educators, this is absolutely the place. We are so grateful to have found it!

We absolutely love the La Petite family! We have all three of our children age 4,2,2 … and they have done a lot for their development. The learning done there is very neutral and they focus on the kids… the way it should be! Everyone is great here.

My Grandson attended this Facility when he turned 1 and is now in public school. So of course we did not hesitate to put his little Brother there when he turned 1! Such an amazing childcare facility with caring, attentive staff and a warm, safe environment. My Grandson is happy, thriving, and loves going every day. I have recommended to my family who also take their kids. It gives us such peace of mind knowing our children are being cared for by people who genuinely love what they do🩷
