This school is absolutely amazing. My son has been here for about three years now. La Petite has been elected Decatur's best for three straight years and it’s easy to see why. The teachers are incredible, all of the classrooms are very clean and I like how they provide updates about my child every day through the app. I also get to see a live stream of my son which is very comforting. They also provide really fun electives and have arts and crafts that they bring home often. This place is much more than just a day care facility. It really is a great learning center and a school that my child enjoys going too.
We had both our girls go through this La Petite, one starting at age 2 and one at 6 months old. They loved it and we loved how safe and cared for they were. Our girls left Ms Natalie’s pre-k fully prepared for a great elementary school experience-both excelling in reading and math. They still think fondly about their time there. We are grateful for the help with their academic and character development. A strong foundation is everything.
My 16 month old daughter has been there for only a month, and I am so grateful that we chose La Petite. The staff is warm, caring, very well trained, and always welcomes any kind of communication. I am grateful for the live cameras so that I check in any time to see how my daughter is doing. I also really appreciate how every week, I know what she will be eating and what the teacher’s lesson plans are. I feel like La Petite is very structured in a way that promotes learning but also balances fun. I would highly recommend this daycare for your little one.
My son started going to this school, when he was 3 years old. I was very nervous about leaving him, he had never been to a daycare of any kind. My nerves went away very quickly, the staff is amazing, and very caring. They helped me and my child both adopt to our new normal, of dropping him off. He immediately loves his school and his teachers. When he moved up to pre-k he learned new things very quickly, Ms. Natalie is very patient with her students, you can tell she loves her kids. Ms. Natalie always takes the time to answer any questions I have. All I hear from my son is, Ms. Natalie is my teacher, she teaches me. It is a very safe school, all the teachers seem to really love their jobs. I couldn't ask for a better school and pre-k teacher.
Love LaPetite!! Our experience has been excellent from daily day care to home work assistance once our child got to school age!! It’s not just a day care but the children learn everyday!! Teacher ratio per child is excellent! One teacher that stands out to our family is Natalie Brown. She has patience with each child no matter the situation — they know Natalie cares.
