April, who runs the school, is the absolute best—professional, kind, and genuinely cares about every kid and family. We put our son in daycare at just 5 months old and while it was heartbreaking to do I could not have chosen a better place and better people to have taken care of my son. Mrs. Priscilla made me feel so at ease with the transition and took such amazing care of him that I had zero worry. She cares for those babies as if they are her own and it shows. I am so incredibly thankful for her and everything she has done to help shape my little baby into the sweet toddler he is becoming.

Our daughter has been attending La Petite Academy since she was 13 weeks old and she’s now almost 5 in the VPK program. Our experience has been wonderful. Some of the things we think sets this school apart from others… 1. Stable staff - we’ve had the same 2 drop off teachers since, Ms Yaritza and Ms Marisol since day 1. Other teachers have been working at the facility for many years, Eli, Kerline, Panage, etc. Yes, some teachers have left for other jobs and new ones have started, but the transition has always been easy for the kids and families. 2. Extended hours - 6:30 am - 6:30 pm, at no extra cost. This has enabled our family to balance our work hours easily. 3. Live cameras - I love checking in on the class from my phone, especially when my daughter was too young to talk. I could see her napping, playing, and eating with her friends 4. Food and diapers are included - formula, baby food, breakfast, lunch, and snack (food made in their kitchen), plus diapers and wipes. Takes so much off my plate, and she tries new foods along with her friends 5. Diversity - both the staff and children are diverse. My daughter has heard English, Spanish, Portuguese, and Creole throughout her time there, and I like to call her class the UN. Everyone and their family culture is celebrated! 6. Education - my daughter has had an excellent education. There is a good mix of open play, pretend, art, music, dance, outside time, book reading, songs, etc. 7. Large outdoor space - multiple playgrounds for the different age groups. Most childcare centers I see have a tiny play space behind a strip mall, but this location has 3 playgrounds and a city park next door.
