La Petite Academy

As a military spouse and first-time mom, deciding to place my daughter in daycare after being home with her for a full year was not an easy decision. La Petite Academy on Garners Ferry has truly been a jewel. From day one, the staff has been warm, professional, and incredibly supportive. I love the engaging activities, the consistent cleanliness, and how thoughtfully they meet the needs of families. Most importantly, my daughter absolutely loves her teachers, and that means everything to me. My mind is truly at ease knowing she is cared for in such a nurturing environment. I am beyond grateful to have found such an amazing daycare and highly recommend it to any family looking for quality care.

La Petite Academy has been such a wonderful experience for our family. From the moment you walk in, you can feel how much the staff truly cares about the children. Everyone is warm, professional, and attentive, and they consistently create a safe, welcoming environment where kids feel comfortable and supported. Communication has been great, and it’s clear they take pride in making sure each child is learning, growing, and having a positive day. A special shout-out to Ms. Angela, the after-school teacher—she is absolutely amazing! She’s patient, kind, and always keeps the children engaged. My child speaks so highly of her, and I can tell she genuinely loves what she does. She makes after-school time fun, structured, and encouraging, and it gives me peace of mind knowing my child is in such capable, caring hands. We’re truly grateful for La Petite Academy and the exceptional team. I would highly recommend them to any parent looking for a school with a loving environment and an outstanding staff.

I find La petite academy is a great place for my twin grandsons they seem to enjoy every moment that they're there and when they're not they miss it. Ms Angela is a great asset for the school. She seems to be very patient and understanding of the children and I appreciate that she does a lot of different activities with them on a daily basis. All the staff members are very welcoming and professional at doing their job. I think La petite academy was a great find for my grandsons. To all the staff members thank you for all that you do.

We’ve been bringing our child to this La Petite for eighteen months now, and we've had a great experience so far! Our experience started with a tour of the daycare when we first decided to apply. The facility itself is bright, clean, and clearly designed by people who understand young children. Low sinks, cozy reading nooks, natural light everywhere, and an outdoor play area that actually gets used every single day weather permitting. All of the rooms are set up to maximize engagement and inspire play. The daycare provides diapers, wipes, and a variety of nutritious meals. You dont have to worry about to packing and bringing in a separate diaper bag! The teachers are very nurturing and knowledgeable. They provide support with important transitions from tummy time, crawling, and walking; and from bottles, sippy cups, and open cups. They follow a very balanced daily schedule—plenty of free play, structured learning, outdoor time, music & movement, and rest. They send the best daily updates with photos and little notes about her day. We also have access to view the cameras of the room she's checked in. The most important aspect of using this daycare is access! We can contact the director/assistant director anytime during the day. You can call or send a message through the app to address any concerns. Personally - our shy (at times) child has really started to come out of her shell in her toddler class. She's speaking more, engaging with her little friends, and helping the teacher whenever she can. Overall we definitely recommend using this daycare.

We’ve been so happy with our experience at La Petite Academy. From the very beginning, the teachers have been incredibly kind and patient, and one of the things we appreciate most is how little turnover there is — you can tell the staff truly care about the kids and the school community. When it was discovered that our daughter needed some extra support with her speech, her teachers were so understanding and worked closely with us to make sure she was getting the help she needed. They also went above and beyond to help with potty training when we were having trouble at home. Even though the daycare is quite a drive from where we live — sometimes 45 minutes to an hour in rush hour traffic — we’ve chosen to keep her there because the care she receives is worth it. Our daughter loves her teachers, has made great friends, and is thriving. We couldn’t ask for a more supportive and nurturing environment.
