We love La Petite Academy on Lake Powell! I am personally the coach at this school with Little Lions Club, and have loved getting to coach here! As a vendor who works with many preschools, this one truly stands out. The staff is warm, organized, and so engaged with the kids. It is easy to tell they put their hearts into creating a fun, safe, and positive environment every day. When I come in to coach, the children are always excited, supported, and ready to learn, which says so much about the culture the school has created. It’s a joy to be part of their week, and you can feel the strong connection between teachers, students, and families. If you’re a children’s program looking for a preschool to partner with; we’ve loved being a vendor at La Petite Academy on Lake Powell, for over a year now. They truly make collaboration easy, positive, and genuinely enjoyable.

I would like to sincerely commend the entire school for the outstanding care, dedication, and professionalism shown to both students and parents. Miss Dwan, the school director, is truly passionate about her students and the work she does. Her leadership is evident in everything she does,she is approachable, compassionate, and always willing to listen. She communicates exceptionally well with parents and has a special way of making your day brighter with her kindness and positive attitude. The teachers are equally amazing,very welcoming, nurturing, and supportive to both the children and the parents. You can genuinely feel the love, patience, and commitment they put into each child’s growth and development. They create a safe, encouraging, and structured environment where children feel valued, confident, and excited to learn. As a parent, I feel comfortable, confident, and at peace knowing my daughter is in such capable, caring hands. This school truly feels like a family, and I am very grateful for the positive impact they continue to have on my child’s life. I highly recommend this school to any parent looking for a warm, supportive, and excellent learning environment.

I recently met with the Director of this school during a tour. She is really knowledgeable of her school and childcare in general. I felt very welcomed here. Also the teachers were really excited and happy around the kiddos having a good time with them. Of course they were great in their teaching moments that I saw as well. Just a solid experience! I would HIGHLY recommend this school!

After being put on waitlists for other schools, we landed at La Petite Lake Powell. Our original plan was to transfer our child out once a spot opened at another school. However, after spending 9 months in the Twos class with Ms. Snow and Ms. Olivia, our son was given structure, began potty training, and made to feel like such an important part of the school community(that he eventually stopped crying so much at drop off haha). He started speaking more clearly, could identify shapes/colors and sing every song under the sun! I really knew he loved school by the way he prayed for his teachers and classmates at bedtime! We decided to stay with La Petite instead of transfer him to another school when he turned 3 because we know that each one of these teachers (many mothers themselves) would love and protect our child like their own. Now he is in preschool with Ms. Viola, fully potty trained and we get so many compliments from family and friends about his manners(reinforced at school) and how good he is with independently using the potty/washing his hands(also reinforced with so much structure at school!) We are so grateful for this school community and our committed teachers/staff!

This childcare facility has been amazing. I feel safe leaving my children with this staff. Mrs. Dwan and Miss Nikki are always there when I have concerns. And address them accordingly. I’d like to shout out my Pre-K teachers for Ivan and Infant room for Everly! Mrs. Kim needs an extra paid day off or gift especially for her warm welcome and engagement with Everly and the other babies. She’s EXTREMELY patient. Miss. Luna is so sweet and Everly loves to see her!! Miss Jackie informs us of anything happening in the room as well. Shout out to Miss Viola, or as Ivan says it “Mrs. Ola”. She greets Ivan with a smile & a hug every morning and has even taught Ivan so many new things that he’s been bringing home! He loves to see her along with Miss Kiera & Mrs. Barbara. Earlier on, in the twos, Ivan was attached to Miss Sno who helped with potty training Ivan and has become a staple In his life. The entire staff has been incredible and I do not mean to leave anyone out. They are all enthusiastic and happy to be there each day. 🩷
