La O'Wn Academy

We are newer to La O'wn and are absolutely loving this special place! The vibe is warm, loving and engaging. The director and all staff have been so kind and relationship driven- my kid is not just a number to them! My daughter has been happy to go to school every day since day 1, which tells me everything. I am so grateful to have found such a wonderful childcare community for my kids!

We’ve been at La ‘Own for the past six years and have had a wonderful experience with both our girls. The staff have always treated our girls like their own and we are so grateful for their warmth and kindness. The facility is always kept clean and never feels overly noisy or chaotic. La Own hosts regular events for parents to come and spend time together and keeps us updated all day long on what’s going on in the classrooms. I toured a lot of daycares in the beginning and La Own felt like home from day one. We’re so grateful for Ms. Jennifer, Ms. Jan, Ms. Sou, Ms. Stefanie, Ms. Ida, Ms. Dominique and all the other wonderful teachers who have showed our girls so much love over the years.

We have been part of La O’wn since 2019, starting in the infant room, and it has been an incredible experience every step of the way. The teachers, especially Mrs. Jennifer and Mrs. Jan, have been amazing—caring, dedicated, and truly invested in the kids’ growth. Our son has absolutely loved his time here, and we’ve been so impressed with how much he’s learned. The curriculum for the 4-year-old and Pre-K programs is fantastic, and we’re so glad we decided to stay for Pre-K. Beyond the academics, the school creates such a warm, fun environment with family activities throughout the year. It’s been a wonderful community for our family, and we will be very sad to leave when our son heads to kindergarten this fall. We are so grateful to have found La O’wn and highly recommend it to any family looking for a nurturing, enriching early education experience!

La O’wn is a wonderful daycare! My daughter has been attending since she was 5 months old and the staff is like an extended family to her. Jennifer and Jan are warm and loving. They spend time in every classroom helping out with the children and cleaning after the day is done. There are a lot of other staff who have been working there for a while who my daughter absolutely loves! The school recently got repainted inside and all new furniture. Their toys and supplies always seem in good shape. It always smells so clean. I love that it’s not just a daycare, they also have a set curriculum. They are very honest and communicative if my daughter falls down/ has an injury or seems sick. I recommend this place 10/10

My daughter has been at la own since she was 3 months old. She is now one year old and we have been beyond happy with our experience. We truly feel that any of the staff who have interacted with our daughter are like family to us. They genuinely care about the children and do everything in their power to meet their needs. My daughter makes sure to tell Jan & Jennifer bye everyday. She lights up when she sees them. She has moved out of the infant room and into the one year old’s room, but anytime she sees a familiar teacher from the infant room, she gets so excited. The staff who was involved with her transition into a different room were all so wonderful and made sure she was comfortable. We are so grateful for this daycare and the staff. My daughter’s behavior tells me she is loved and happy at this daycare. Thankful is an understatement.
