The stories I heard are horrendous! I even saw the pic. I too had my son here….and pulled him out IMMEDIATELY after speaking to a parent with their families experience. (The staff seemed confused as to why I would pull him so quickly). My son would come home EVERYDAY with a diaper rash. We couldn’t understand why or how, especially when we would do everything we could to clear it up. It seemed like the rash would finally go away over the weekend then repeat again throughout the week. My son was also having issues sleeping at night, waking up screaming, not sleeping well, waking up at all hours of the night. He also became docile instead of the happy and loving kid that he is. As soon as I pulled him out, he has not had any more diaper rashes (because I change his diaper and not leave him in a dirty diaper all day), he’s back to sleeping well, and his personality is starting to shine again. We were only there for about 6 weeks before speaking with other parents and putting it all together. Oh and they also lost our child’s items we brought in, or don’t use them at all. Make sure to do the research on this place….especially the state complaint (wish I would’ve seen that). Follow your gut, protect your child.
Kradle to Krayon has a special place in our hearts! They provided us with a safe and loving environment for our children. Our kids were well cared for and formed great friendships there as well. Strongly recommend!
My child was in this daycare and consistently would be left to cry all day while staffed lied to me saying he was fine and happy. When I asked for pictures they would send ones where he had obviously just stopped crying. And then when I would come to pick him up he would be grinding his teeth and had obviously been in emotional distress that day. Thankfully I was able to pull him out of here quickly but I would not reccomend people leave their children here.
I want to share my family’s experience so parents can make informed decisions. My child attended this daycare until he was 3, when he told us about being wrapped tightly in a blanket during naps or when he “talked too much,” which made him scared and uncomfortable. We reported these concerns to local law enforcement. In our experience, the follow-up from authorities was insufficient. I was also shown recordings and photos depicting teachers yelling at children and using physical discipline. Multiple other parents and former staff have shared similar experiences with us, which makes us concerned about the overall environment. I am sharing this to encourage parents to talk with their children about their experiences and to make careful choices about childcare.
This place has been allegedly “training” staff to physically restrain kids who don’t want to nap during nap time until they fall asleep. There is a photo of a staff member doing just that inside the preschool room, by putting her (very large) legs on top of a small child who is positioned on his stomach. My son went here for about a year and I’m just now realizing this could be why he started having night terrors and refusing naps at home around the time he was there. This is not okay. They should be shut down.
