Kountry Kids Day Care

I placed my daughter in this facility while working in Shiner. Her payments were set up through autopay. I was charged for a week the center was closed. When inquiring about the refund or credit for that week, I was ignored. When I finally reached the owner I was told I wouldn’t receive a refund due to her still having to pay her staff to come in and clean. Ok, fine if that’s policy. When permanently removing my daughter from the center, a payment was auto- drafted. The owner informed me I would be refunded the payment the center withdrew and it would come by form of a check in the mail. After a couple of weeks of no payment I reached out again. She then stated that the check was mailed out Monday. I have called anywhere from 20-30 times over the last three months, left voicemails, stopped by the center, contacted through their app, messaged on Facebook and sent several text messages. I only received a response months later when I managed to go to the daycare center at the same time she was there. I was told that she had to call the bank to verify the “check she sent” was never cashed and she was unable to do it then because she had a class to attend to, but would follow up with me. I called again over several weeks, ignored. I called today from my work phone and as soon as I stated who I was she hung up on me. I tried calling back several times and was sent to voicemail. I finally received a text message today stating as per her handbook, tuition is non refundable when withdrawing from care. I was verbally told twice that I was being refunded. I received the run around for months. I paid $200 a week and my daughter only attended one maybe two times a week because I was told they only do full time enrollment. This was the worst encounter I’ve had with a daycare.

My kids LOVE coming to daycare everyday and seeing their teachers and friends. I know my kids are safe, having fun, and learning every day. Such a big blessing for our small community!

Great place for my little one! He loves the staff and always has a smile on his face when I pick him up. With hourly updates and photos through the app, I feel that my child is being greatly taken care of by the wonderful staff!

My son loves this place! He goes to bed excited to be able to go back the next morning. Even on the weekends lol. He's always telling me everything he got to do that day and all about his friends.

The whole experience we have had with this academy has been extremely unprofessional. Their app does not work, and I'm still getting charged even after leaving. Staff was rude. If you can take your child anywhere else. Please do.
