So, my little one, started at Kosmic Kids when he was just 6 months old. Back then, it was honestly great. They had the ClassDojo app, the teachers gave out their numbers, they sent pictures and really made you feel like your child was being taken care of. You’d pick him up, he’d be all happy, and they’d actually talk to you face-to-face instead of handing you some generic paper. Then we moved away for a bit and when we came back, things had changed. New staff came in and it wasn’t quite the same vibe. At first, I figured it was fine because my son was comfortable and I liked the daycare overall. But as he moved to a new class with a new teacher (Miss Elsie), that’s when issues started. He ended up getting hurt the teacher claimed another kid pulled a cracked bucket down and it gashed his face. I honestly don’t believe a two-year-old did that, and it left a permanent scar. I was told they’d move him out of her class, but then he started crying and screaming every day at drop-off, clinging to the door not to go in. It was a battle every morning. When I talked to the director, she was sweet and I do think she cared, but that particular teacher made it clear she didn’t have patience for my child. My son is speech delayed, and he does things like climb or prefer being alone sometimes. Instead of working with that, it felt like they just didn’t want to deal with him. Long story short, I took him out of there that same day and now he’s at a new daycare where he’s happy, runs in without tears, and feels safe. If your child needs a little extra care or is nonverbal, I wouldn’t recommend this place. Do your research and find somewhere that truly cares for your kid.

My baby was here for a month. I just didnt feel like they had good communication. I didnt feel welcomed to come in and talk with the teachers. They want you to drop the babies off at the door and leave, same with pick up. Idk if his teacher was let go or quit but I feel that parents should be notified of teacher changes. I understand that this type of occupation may have high turnover, but I would still like a notification each time. I only found out because I had the former teachers number and decided to text them randomly and then she told me she was no longer there. I didnt like that the school does not offer the app to keep you updated. They just like to send home a paper of what the kids did. I would just prefer real time updates. I tried to make an exception for not having the app but the take home sheet would say my baby was changed at 5pm but my baby never stays til 5. This lets me know that they are pre-filling the sheets Or lying on them. After my baby came home in poop diapers everyday one week, I was not impressed. I decided to part ways. I found a day care with the app, doesnt mind me coming in and they make sure my baby is dry/clean before handing them over. I think a red flag In the beginning for me, should have been during the tour, They told me to come during the time that the kids were napping. I did find it weird that every single last kid was sleep. When I toured other daycare ‘s, Some kids will be sleeping and other kids will be playing so to see a facility that had every child sleep at the same time was a little strange. Formulate your own opinion about the daycare if you would like, I am simply providing a detailed review that I wanted to see when I was looking for a daycare especially as a first time mom.

I really wanted to like this daycare because it was so close to my home. This was my first experience with daycare for my 22 month old son. Within 3 days of him attending this daycare he got Herpangina (in the hand, foot, mouth family) he was out for two weeks with 104 temp. Came back and within 2 days he had a really bad viral infection that cause him to have 104 temp, cough, running nose. At this point I started looking for a new daycare. Sent him back one last day before starting his new daycare and he got pink eye. There’s NO WAY they clean properly in there. Mind you, I work from home so my son has no other way to contact this stuff and didn’t start getting sick till the day he started this daycare! If you don’t care about your kid getting sick every other day, go ahead and send them here.

Definitely recommend Kosmic Kids! My baby has been to two other childcare centers since we moved to Texas and she would throw a fit EVERY morning when I dropped her off! Someone recommended Kosmic Kids and I couldn’t have made a better choice! She gets out every morning ready to go! The staff are great and that’s not just my opinion my kids show it to be true! They help with potty training and they keep me updated throughout the day and at the end of the day! Definitely let’s me know my babies are in good hands!

The worst 3 1/2 days of care ever received. My oldest two attended here prior to Covid and I never had the issues I recently experienced with my youngest son. There has been a lot of changes and unfortunately it does not seem to be good changes. My son is lactose intolerant and I made this clear on his enrollment forms, with the director and several employees. I provided ripple milk that my son tolerates to kosmic kidz but apparently the lack of communication at the center led to my son having regular milk and still to this day, 11/20/2023, he is suffering from diarrhea. The last day he attended kosmic Kidz, 11/15/2023, he was dismissed with no bottoms on because they said he messed up all of his clothes. That was the icing on the cake for me! There is no acceptable reason as to why my son is not properly clothed. My son was crying and did not want to sit in his car seat. When we got home, we discovered he had a diaper rash. I emailed my concerns to the director and of course no response but the center did quickly call to discontinue care for my son. What a huge red flag! I see kosmic kidz don’t like to communicate or take responsibility for their POOR actions.
