I cannot say enough positive things about Koala Bear. As a parent having had one child graduate from the Firefly room and a current toddler enrolled, we have had amazing experiences with every staff member from infant and toddler rooms all the way up through the preschool rooms. It is evident how much all of the teachers care for the kids they work with, and it is always a comfort knowing both how much my kids have been loved and supported and knowing they are consistently excited to be at school each day at Koala. I also have the unique privilege of providing early intervention services and consults at times for Koala Bear and their students, and they are truly a step above in how they care for all of their students and personalize their supports for each child so they can succeed and grow. Koala Bear staff and management always cherish each student for who they are as an individual and are eager to build in supports and suggestions for their students to grow and thrive. It is truly unique to Koala Bear and a testament to the quality of their teachers and the work they do.

This child care center is truly amazing! The intergenerational program sets it apart like no other in the area and creates such a warm, family like environment. You can feel the joy it brings to both the children and the older adults. The kiddos build meaningful connections with the residents that you don’t often find anywhere else. My daughter would always come home and talk about the fun things they did with the older adults they saw daily. The teachers are absolutely the best! They are all caring, patient, and dedicated to helping each child grow and thrive. The director is caring and you can tell the Director truly cares about both the children and the staff, greeting each child each day and has created a welcoming and supportive environment. My kids’ favorites are the pool days, pontoon rides, field trips, picnic lunches, the daily walks around the building with the residents and so much more. I can’t say enough good things about the love and attention they give to the children every day. I would never send my child anywhere else. Highly recommend!

Don’t pay attention to the rediculous reviews left by 101 and moose, anonymously. While I will do my best, it will be hard to articulate the incredible experience that all myself, other parents and all the children who have come through here have had. This place has been truly been the highlight of my child's and my parenting life. I couldn’t actually think of one thing to change about how it all came together and my experience. This place has a waitlist for a reason, it’s awesome. The staff sticks around for a reason, they’re awesome. This place gets 5 stars for a reason, just awesome. When you hear people say “it takes a special type of person to do this” that’s literally every single employee that works here. Each class has a plan while each child progresses at a speed that is in line with the age and curriculum. Every parent and teacher says hello to each other in the morning and afternoon- you want to know why? Because this is actually a place that cares about the children (most importantly), the staff (also important), the parents and each other. My child has created his lifelong friends and memories through this faith based daycare. 10/10 would send my kid back there. And for the folks seeing the 1 star reviews posted on the same day probably by the same person, read them twice like I did and just know it’s absolute bologna. Thank you Koala Bear Daycare for giving my child the best child care possible and we’ll never forget all the joy you’ve brought to our family

Horrible experience here at Koala Bear childcare in Spring Park. The amount of stress and damage this place caused our family is irreversible and unforgivable. Don’t let staff longevity fool you as a “good” thing. The ability of management and staff that have been there for far longer than they should have, to cover things up is horrifying. Honesty and trust is a big part of feeling safe when someone is watching your child. This daycare does not possess either of those. Don’t ignore red flags. Seriously this place and the management/ staff are a parent’s nightmare.

Updating my original review! We have now been at Koala Bear for three years and have two kiddos there. We have nothing but positive things to say. Now having experienced the majority of the classrooms, we can say we whole heartedly appreciate the care we receive there at all ages. The staff is wonderful and communicative. The variety keeps our toddler loving every single day. Multiple playgrounds, pontoon rides, swimming, field trips, time with the grandmas and grandpas at the assisted living, they have so much to do each day. We cannot say enough good things about Koala Bear! We have loved our experience with Koala Bear and have been there for just over a year. We find comfort in the longevity of the teachers and director. We appreciate the intergenerational program which we view as being helpful for both the residents at the attached senior living community and the kids at Koala Bear. We have been in the infant and toddler room so far and as first time parents we were anxious about all of the transitions kids go through in their first year, (bottles, to food, to no bottles, nap schedule changes, etc) but the teachers in both rooms have helped guide us when we had questions without pushing any particular advancements before we felt our child was ready. Would definitely recommend Koala Bear!
