What Parents Say
Knowledge Kollege II receives highly polarized reviews. The majority of parents (5 five-star reviews) praise the caring staff, educational approach, cleanliness, and family-like environment, with children showing strong development and enthusiasm for attending. However, three one-star reviews criticize the director's selectivity in enrollment, rudeness during inquiries, and perceived unwillingness to work with children who don't fit their ideal profile.
Knowledge Kollege reopend at just the right time in my life. My son was 23 months old and bored out of his mind at the daycare center he was currently enrolled. He would cry when I dropped him off, cry all day at the school, cry when I picked him up. It wasn't until I enrolled him at Knowledge Kollege that I "got my son back." He is a very friendly, outgoing, curious, industrious, and smart. The director is kind, caring, and very involved. It is more like a family than a daycare, and definitely more like a school than a daycare. The ladies at Knowledge Kollege know how to care for children. I am so please to say that my daughter now attends Knowledge Kollege at 18 months and is growing and learning everyday. My son is now 3 years old and loves each and every teacher at his school. The classes do no segregate themselves, it is a small town environment (everybody knows everybody)!! Never a dull day at school. Special days have included: Bounce house days (with water slide, weather permitting), trick-or-treating with neighboring businesses, Dr. Seuss week celebration, pony rides, pajama day with pancakes, holiday book exchange, special birthday celebrations, etc. They have done an amazing job getting these kids ready for school without giving school a bad name. I believe they are doing a great job creating future learners. I am a school teacher, and I see the amount of effort being made at Knowledge Kollege to ensure that all their kids love "school." I tell everyone about Knowledge Kollege and how amazing the school is. This school is not perfect, always room for improvement, but perfection is something they work hard to achieve everyday. This is a privately owned daycare, that means they have to option to accept or deny acceptance. That's life, not everyone makes the cut. That is a lesson that should be taught to everyone. Knowledge Kollege has done an amazing job creating diversity within their school and has accepted challenges to only succeed with great success. Each and every teacher at this school has worked very hard to ensure that each student is cared for in a way that makes a mommy feel secure. I have never felt unsure or worried for my children at this school. Great breakfast food, awesome creative snacks, very healthy lunches, and a peaceful nap time! It is simply everything you would want in a daycare facility!!! I can't say it enough, "Thank you Knowledge Kollege for all your hard work loving my babies almost as much as I love them." Keep up the good work!!
As a stay at home mom for the first 2 years of my daughters life, nothing made me more nervous than finding a school for her where I felt she was comfortable. Knowledge Kollege ll has exceeded my expectations. The school is not only exceptional when it comes to early education, but it is also one big family. I attended Knowledge Kollege as a little girl and even 20 years ago my parents could say the same as I am. I was always so nervous about finding the best place for my daughter, and now at 4 years old she adores the staff and the amazing director, Katie Mann. She is far more than ready for kindergarten and I believe Knowledge Kollege's strong devotion to fun and learning has a great amount to do with it. They involve learning with such creativity and so much fun! There's no other place I would recommend for anyone to take their children. Knowledge Kollege has been and always will be the number 1 school for my family!
Looking for a place where your child will have enough opportunity to develop their true self, where they will be loved, cared and well taught (even things that are parents' job! like table manners and coexisting skills) is definitely not an easy task. I was even hesitant to set Knowledge Kollege as that place for my daughter (definitely not a perfect child) but Mrs. Katie and her staff have demonstrated over the time we have belonged to their family I can feel peace of mind having my child in their hands. She looks forward to go to her school, to see her teacher, her friends and she has never cried during drop off! Not even the first day! She even draws the school with the teachers and talks about how much she loves this little place. There is no better proof than her own words and all the love and care you as a parent will feel all the children receive here. As I said, the proof is right before our eyes every day, every pick off, every drop off. Probably not perfect but this is definitely the place where my child feels safe, loved, cared and happy to be in! and she's learned a ton!! Very very blessed and thankful they reopened right when I needed it! Thank you Knowledge Kollege II.
They claim to love children and do everything in the name of children. Not necessarily true. If your child is unique or an individual of their own style this place will not be a good fit for you. Why? Because they don't actually want to work. They just want to go to their perfect job & take care of cute perfect children. They don't want to be challenged or have to think outside the box. They're just cute daycare workers who take care of cute kids. So if your child is perfect and adorable and fits the textbook mold then you have found your perfect daycare!
I went here looking for a great place for my daughter, what I got was a hand in the face telling me that I'm not good enough to come here. The director herself told me "we are independently owned so we can do what we want." I have no doubt that if you're lucky enough to be accepted into their elite varsity team you will have a good experience here, I apparently was not good enough. But that's ok I don't want people like this around my child anyway.
