What Parents Say
Knowledge Beginnings DCC in Vancouver, Washington receives consistently high praise from parents for exceptional care, supportive staff, and a nurturing environment. Parents highlight the director Annie's responsiveness, teachers' genuine investment in children's wellbeing, and the center's strong communication with families. The facility is noted for combining quality early education with a warm, family-like atmosphere.
We were previously enrolled at Knowledge Beginnings, and the only reason we left was because our school district wouldn’t transport to their center. If that hadn’t been the case, we would have never left. Unfortunately, the new program we switched to—ESD112—had their funding unexpectedly cut. What made it worse was that ESD112 administrators never informed parents that the last day of care would be June 11th. There was still a half-day of school on June 12th, and it wasn’t until the amazing providers at ESD112 gave us a personal heads up that we even found out there would be no care that day. At least they cared enough to say something. When I found out on June 10th that there would be no childcare coverage, I felt completely stuck. I reached out to Annie, the director at Knowledge Beginnings, and explained the situation. She was a true blessing. Annie made it possible for my children to start summer care immediately at her location. I honestly had no other options. She helped me avoid missing work and truly saved the day. What makes Knowledge Beginnings so special is the care, consistency, and community. My kids already knew the staff, and every provider there goes above and beyond. Annie and her team don’t just watch kids—they create a space where families feel supported and seen. We need more centers like this one. Thank you, Annie. Thank you to the entire Knowledge Beginnings team. You are one of the best daycare providers by far.
Don’t even look this way if you want your child to be safe. My child came home multiple bite marks and nothing was done until I said something to teachers . They lost incident reports but I had all copies saved for that reason . Also my child had unexplained bruises on my son’s ribs and he’s 2 my other son had a huge bruise on his head and he’s was 1. I also had to repeat that my kids ask for water when I pick them up and drink lots of water when they get home and that is not even all of it . I don’t trust them they have so many teachers in and out of the classroom so they can’t keep track of who was in the classroom the time of abuse. Stay away and keep ur kids safe and go to a different daycare!
We have had the best experience bringing our daughter to KB. We absolutely love the staff! Amelia loves her teachers and comes home laughing every day! They do art projects and care for her like one of their own children! We could not ask for a better daycare experience!
I am very fortunate to have my child attend here! They take amazing care of him each day, keep us updated on anything needed, and how the day was at both drop off and pick up. We are greeted each morning with a big smile and hello as we walk in and waves as we leave. They genuinely care about our son and how he is doing. I couldn't imagine having him cared for any other place. ❤️
Lovely place, where teachers care about your kido and director knows what is happening! Rooms equipped with everything kido needs, teachers submitting pictures and activities in the app. I love that I can write a message if I have a question or would love to double check on my son. Good food, clean kitchen and nice outdoor place. Ms Mady knows how to bring attention and make mornings bye less stressful. Ms. Alexus is our love, she is very caring and happy to meet your kido needs, support them!
