We move alot and every time we move we attempt to find our roots as quickly as possible. With smaller children we did visit and attend a few churches which were great. Our family needed more connection to our community than running in and out of service left us feeling a little empty. Our children seemed a little overstimulated and really were not gaining a time to learn. We initially let our children attend VBS, they loved it. With a smaller group of kids they made friends, they were eager to go back. We decided to attend as a family and it was the best decision we made for our family. The pastoral staff are very relatable, this important in growing in faith for us. It is odd for me to write a google review for a church no doubt but what I want other military families to know is that this is undoubtedly a place for spiritual growth and family connection. I have seen our children grow in their faith and our relationships grow closer spiritualy. There are a ton of ways to be connected. We have done a Moms study, Mens study, a small group for our family, there are children activities. It's a church that truly cares for each other and hands down wonderful pastoral leadership in service. We love Knollwood
The map is of the final design plans of the church. The brown buildings are for teen and child ministries. Toddler and baby care is also in the brown buildings. The white building is the main sanctuary. Inside the sanctuary it is pretty and spacious. The playground is actually a play garden with lots of unique equipment and nature incorporated. Everyone here is very welcoming and friendly!
Were new to this church and believe we found the ideal church for us. Incredibly nice people, no pretenses, with important weekly messages and uplifting music. Our spirits are always lifted being inside this church and around its members. If you're looking for a friendly community church that focuses on doing good works, being kind to each other, and celebrating your relationship with God, it would be hard to find a more perfect Church than Knollwood.
It is always a wonderful time at Knollwood. I find the sermons to be fulfilling and knowledgeable. Very family oriented, which I love! If your looking for community and to strengthen your faith, here is the place to be.
I absolutely love Knollwood! Since joining a few months ago, I've been impressed by how warm and welcoming everyone is. I never felt pressured or overwhelmed—instead, I felt genuinely welcomed and valued.
