We had the most wonderful experience at KLA. The staff and teachers are truly exceptional, and I always felt confident that my kids were deeply cared for, supported, and loved. We only left because we moved out of the area, and it was incredibly hard for all of us... my kids and me included. That alone says so much. While attending this school, our family went through the worst thing a child can experience: the loss of a parent. During that unimaginable time, the teachers and staff went above and beyond in every way, offering love, compassion, stability, and genuine care for my children. I will never forget how they showed up for us. Even after leaving, I still keep in touch with several of the teachers, which speaks volumes about the kind of community this school is. This is not just a daycare; it’s a loving, supportive community, and we feel incredibly grateful to have been a part of it.

We’ve been part of the KLA community for about nine years. Our oldest started at 18 months and is now an alum at 10 years old, and our daughter began at 6 months and is now 4. It’s been a wonderful experience throughout. The staff are diligent and caring, creating a safe and nurturing environment where children truly thrive. The teachers are fantastic—attentive, supportive, and genuinely joyful in their work. Their love for the kids is clear, and we feel incredibly fortunate to have found such a special school. Our children have made great friends and created treasured memories at KLA. We’ve had opportunities over the years to move them to schools closer to home in Pleasant Hill or with lower tuition, but we’ve consistently chosen to stay because the quality of care and education at KLA far outweighs the extra cost or commute. We’re very happy with our time at KLA and grateful for the experiences our family has had there.

The facility is always locked during business hours, ensuring a secure environment for all children. Beyond that, the staff are consistently professional, warm, and deeply committed to the well-being and development of each kiddo. KLA’s approach to positive discipline, redirection, and their overall "children first" philosophy has made a profound difference in our son’s growth. We’ve seen meaningful progress in his behavior, confidence, and social skills—progress that we attribute directly to the nurturing guidance and structure provided by KLA’s teachers and educational approach. Our kids have been going KLA for 9 years. We have experienced compassionate, caring, hardworking teachers who have helped our kids flourish in the first 5 years of their lives.
