This daycare is completely unprofessional and in my opinion ghetto . My son started going there when he was eight weeks old , he was in the daycare for a month and since day one, I started having issues with them. When I communicated certain things I would like done with my son to Pamela who who by the way is supposed to be the assistant Director, she would constantly give me the most condescending attitude like she was listening, but she really wasn’t. It was almost like you could tell in the back of her mind. She was like oh I know what I’m doing , and I even told her it’s not that I don’t think that you don’t know what you’re doing I am a new mom and I just wanna make sure things are done a certain way with my son. I pulled up to pick up my son one day and they had him outside with a full footed onesie, a hat and mittens, and it was literally 87° outside , mind you he’s only three months old and is still prone to SIDS (sudden infant death) . I could not believe my eyes, he had no fan with a full winter outfit on . When I mentioned it to pam her response was oh we didn’t know if you wanted his hat and his mittens taken off. Mind you didn’t reach out to me and say hey is it OK if we take him outside and take his hat and mittens off . I really honestly couldn’t believe she even said that. A few days later, we ended up having a conversation and I voiced my concerns. She proceeded to tell me that she knows what she’s doing. She’s taking care of other babies before , and naturally my response was if that was the case why would you feel like it was OK to take him outside in 90° weather with a footed onesie, a hat and mittens on. My son had heat rash that I had to treat with cream over the weekend. Pam then told me one morning when I dropped my son off that she would leave early that day around 4 PM and my son would be on the other side with the big kids with the other teacher from 4 to 5 . I then told her I would pick up my son at 3:45 because I did not want my son over with the big kids because he’s still little and still prone to getting sick very easily . I get there at 3:45. The other teacher informed me that she was gone since 3:20 . When I spoke to him about it, she then tells me oh well with traffic it is varies so it’s a day-to-day thing, but she didn’t mention that at first . Any person with common sense can tell she was full of it. Not to mention, I pulled up to drop him off one morning, they are supposed to be open and the earliest drop off is supposed to be at 7 AM. I get to the school and no one’s there. It was me and another parent that was waiting outside. The other parent then proceeded to tell me that he’s always the first one here and when they are late, they usually send him a message, letting him know. I was over an hour late to work that morning , they finally sent a message in the app, which is the screenshot that is attached saying that they would be late. According to the other parent, this is a regular occurring thing . My son‘s last day at this daycare was a Friday of week before last . My mom usually picks him up for me on Friday cause I’m at work, when I got home I checked my son’s bag to make sure they put everything in his bag that I sent to the daycare . Upon checking, I noticed they did not put his bulb syringe back in his bag nor his full brand new box of Tylenol. When I called up there, I spoke with one of the teachers and upon checking she said she did see it and I’m able to come pick it up. Once we got up to the school to pick it up, they told us they didn’t have it and it was actually another babies. Mind you there’s no other babies that go to the school currently my baby was the only one that was enrolled in the infant program at this daycare . I’m honestly mortified of the treatment I received at this place . I THOUGHT SINCE THIS WAS A CHURCH DAYCARE, IT WOULD BE GOOD PEOPLE WORKING HERE AND MY SON WOULD BE TAKING CARE OF. BUT I WAS WRONG. Please please be careful where you put your children. This is not a good place to be.
