What Parents Say
KinderCare Learning Centers 937 in Appleton receives mixed reviews. Most parents praise the loving, patient teachers, clean environment, creative activities, and their children's happiness and learning. When I arrive or leave every day I am carrying almost 50 pounds of baby and baby stuff, there was once 4 people standing in the entrance talking and not one offered to hold the door for me. The font on your app is so small I can't read it with my glasses on, I must use a magnifying glass, so sending me notifications 8 times a day is a waste of your time as I am not carrying a magnifying glass around with me. If you need diapers and wipes, for $ 400 a week, you can ask me verbally instead of sending a message in the app.
Our toddler has attended for over a year. All the teachers are so loving, patient, and invested in every child’s success. Our child is clearly learning from the many fun and creative activities. Special shout out to our child’s main teachers Mrs. Mandy and Ms. Aly, whose hard work and careful preparation benefits our child and the class every day!
My daughter started at 8 weeks old in a KinderCare in Texas. When we relocated up here at 2 years old, she was brought into the KinderCare location on Oneida and has been there for almost 2 years now. She loves it and I have had nothing but wonderful experiences with them. She was able to jump right in without skipping a beat coming from another state since they are Nationally Accredited. Teachers have all been great with her. She is always learning, playing, and having fun and has so much to tell me about her day when I pick her up.
Right when we walked in for our tour and to talk about what Kindercare has to offer we just got a strange feeling. We didnt feel welcome and the infant room literally had very little to offer. A wall of 8 cribs, one bobby pillow, and one activity mat. We got the vibe that the infants spend a majority of their time just laying in the cribs and not getting any one on one interaction. The website indicates they work with flexible schedules... this is false. Its a flat part time rate and a flat full time rate. If your child is there for a couple hours on one day that week you pay the part time rate over an hourly or daily rate. $219 for 3 hours of care is ridiculous. So the cost and the boring infant room made us walk away almost immediately. There are much better places out there where your baby can get so much more interaction for much cheaper flexible rates.
