So thankful for a center/staff that go above and beyond! I am a first time mom and having to go back to work/leave my son was difficult already BUT there is nothing that meant more to me than the care that the staff members gave during my sensitive time! I have not worried for one second that he was taken care of by the best!! I was sent pictures in their app system along with messages and updates frequently. If my son has to miss a day, his teachers check in and let me know how much they miss him. Truly, they treat us like family and that means the most!! The center director and assistant director greet us during drop off and pick up with smiles and are quick to answer questions as they arise. If you need care for your children, look no further. Kindercare Fort Bragg Road is incredible and I will never stop singing their praises!
My son has been enrolled in this preschool, I already see efforts in his behavior and progressions. The environment is pleasant, we see that the children like it a lot. The program is rich and diverse. The structure is very attentive to what they do and bring to the children. Thanks to them for the work and more precious to my son's teachers
I have never dealt with a more combative group of people than with this center. After providing legal documentation allowing me access to my son's files, the center director, Joy Smith refused to supply anything but a single piece of paper. Not only this, but she refused to let me speak with any of his teachers (on the phone or on a zoom call). At this time, we are considering legal action for their unwillingness to follow a court order. I would highly consider placing your child in another facility. Do not trust this place to provide you with necessary information about your child. ***July 26th Update*** Under oath, Joy Smith admitted to using her position and personal opinion of me to dissuade my son's teachers from communicating with me. This is the caliber of professionalism you should expect from this facility. I will be providing a court transcript to NAEYC, NAC and NECPA in hopes of ameliorating this issue. This is definitely a dangerous place for children.
I've been bringing my son here for half-days for the past 4 months and I love this place. Everyone who works there knows him by name and greets him, not just the teachers for his age group. My son seems to really enjoy going to his toddler playgroup and his separation anxiety has really improved when I drop him off in the mornings. Also, anytime he gets a bruise or a scratch at home, his teachers notice it the next morning. My experience with this KinderCare has been fantastic. The staff is very friendly and I would definitely recommend this place for trustworthy, attentive childcare.
I love this facility. My son started going here in August 2017 and we still go here. I need to be informed of what is going on in my sons life, I mean what mom doesn’t? The first week there he came home with some marks and I wasn’t informed of anything that had happened that day when I picked him up. So I emailed voicing my concerns and they called me the next morning before I even took him in to resolve the issue. Now every time I pick him up, I get an update on his day, how he acted, the food he eat, and more. It’s great. I think that’s a great change they have made and have stuck to. His teachers are so nice and Friendly. They treat him like a person with respect and love. I look into the classroom almost everyday after I drop him off and before I pick him up to just watch how he is interacting with everyone and to see how the teachers are responding to the kids. Everyday I am more impressed with them and how they have brought my son out of his shell. When I first brought my son in, he was not talking or even making much noise. Now he’s actually saying words and singing along with everyone at circle time. I can tell he enjoys his time with the kids and the staff. The director and assistant director have been very nice and helpful. I have went to them several times lol they are probably tired of me; and they handle each situation very professional and in good time, even the couple times I have given them attitude. I recommend them to everyone.
