Mrs Emmarie you are the most loving and caring person I ever known! You are the main reason I love bringing my son to daycare. You greet everyone with a big smile, you’re hands on with the children, my baby lovessssss you and so do I. You are the face of Kindercare and I’m grateful for your love and care that you do day to day. Your the best everrrr SERIOUSLY and I THANK YOU SOOOO MUCH FOR ALL THAT YOU DO.

Best daycare, hands down. Every staff member feels hand-picked, from Ms. Emmarie, the Center Director who greets families each morning, to Ms. Jena, the Assistant Director who makes sure every child leaves with a smile at the end of the day. My boys truly feel at home here. The classrooms are spotless, the activities are thoughtful, and even the infants are included in fun and learning. As a first-time mom, I was nervous about leaving my kids anywhere, but this center completely put my mind at ease. I’ve popped in unannounced, and every time I see the same thing: teachers showing real love and care, not just for my children but for all the kids. The hourly photo and video updates brighten my workday, and the joy on my kids’ faces says it all. I’d recommend this center over and over again. Special thanks to Ms. Fisher, Mr. Wyatt, Ms. Leonora, Ms. Kaylee, Ms. Amy, Ms. Sara, Ms. Shirley, and of course Ms. Dorathy, who’s been with the center for over 25 years! If you’re waiting for a sign to choose a daycare that truly loves what they do, this is it. The teachers here don’t just work a job,they genuinely care.

Marcey Street KinderCare is the best! The director and staff are all so kind, patient, and helpful and take such great care of my son. We have been so impressed with the monthly curriculums and willingness of the teachers to do hands-on (and often messy) activities with the babies to aid in development. As a first time mom I was worried about daycare, but I am confident we made the right choice with Marcey Street. My son loves it here and all of the teachers he’s had over the past year.

My son joined Marcey Street back in March and this was his first time being in daycare. He was 13 months old. As a first time mom I was of course nervous, but Emmarie was very hands on every step of the way. His teachers showed him so much love right away! He struggled at first but it truly warmed my heart to see how much his teachers and supporting staff loved him and made it their goal to make daycare his second home. Within a few weeks, it was clear he was in a safe and happy place. The picture and video updates I get are the best! I wouldn’t trust just anyone with my child - but I fully trust this daycare and team. Would highly recommend to any and everyone!

Be prepared for a long review. I became a first single mom just before I entered Kindercare. I had my daughter at a home daycare before I moved her to Kindercare. This is my second Kindercare. After my baby left the home daycare I wanted somewhere that I felt safe and that I loved the staff. The first Kindercare I tried unfortunately did not meet my expectations. Nice people but a bit disorganized and not as friendly. But I still loved Kindercare and did not want to give up. One day I was sitting praying and trying to see where to go. I wanted to move back to my old neighborhood in Logan Square because I didn't have a car and I could take the Armitage or north bus and be there soon. So I literally just picked a place and it was Marceys daycare. I called and made and appointment and Emmarie was so kind and caring. She is such an attentive person. When I went in person my daughter was comfortable enough to leave my side because Emmarie got on the ground and played with her. Not all directors do this. All for my little baby. And the next day Cataleya was enrolled. I still lived south so I would get up every day at 430 am And leave my house at 530 to get my child to daycare by 6.30 on the bus. And it was hard but this daycare is worth it. My child was always safe and loved. And the staff are superb. This daycare is so unique because everyone is a family. They really love one another and their jobs. Emmarie had created an environment of Excellence and love. The teachers are honest as well and they will tell you what is going on. They won't fake it just because you are the parent and this is important. They become your family too. Even my daughters father loves it here. Heck I was even randomly on the bus coming from where I lived on the south side and met a woman whose child used to go to Marceys daycare and her child still talks about how much he loved the daycare. He was just over 5 so he couldn't stay anymore. I mean I could say so much more but this is the best daycare. It's clean, well maintained, and full of love. I intend for My daughter to graduate from Pre K. enroll your kids! I have visited many daycares but this is where my baby is the most safe and loved. I took a few months off due to work and re-enrolled my daughter. And as someone with a social work background and Chicago native this says alot. Anyways here is my essay on why I love it here.
