Krystal and her team at St. Charles Kindercare are the absolute best. They quickly became our "village" and helped us with transitioning after a move, potty training, transitioning into becoming a big sister, etc. The hours are great for working parents, and there are barely any closures. We were there for three years and saw almost no staff turnover whatsoever, and all the teachers genuinely cared about the kids in a personal way. They are NAEYC accredited which is so hard to achieve! So the kids are learning all the time and developing the skills they will need for kindergarten. There are also fun events like a Halloween parade and an app that makes it easy to keep in touch. It has a small family-like vibe, and we only left because we moved away, and even then I cried (often) about my girls leaving these teachers who absolutely loved them. If you're thinking about a local daycare, this is the one! We miss it and feel lucky to have spent so many years in their care.

Used to love the place even with the few incidents I have had there with some staff. However, apparently the director feels the need to gossip and spread her own feelings about her own opinion of me treating my two year old different than my 5 year old. Mind you, she doesn’t see me for more than 2 seconds in the morning when I drop the kids off and again in the evening at pickup. I do not tolerate people who gossip and say things that they do not know anything about and hearing that was said was not only a shock to me, but also a 100 percent reason to pull both kids out of the center.

Krystal the director has been great, along with good communication skills. Prompt to help out if needed. I like the open hours and it helps with my long days for work. My child enjoys going to this daycare along with her peers.

The teachers, director and assistant director are absolutely amazing! My son has been attending this center since he was 4 months old, he will be turning 3 soon and I now have my 2 month old at the center as well. It was extremely hard leaving my oldest son that very first week but the directors were great. They allowed me to call and check up on him all the time. Leaving my little guy there was hard but I knew he would be loved. They are all understanding, humble and so very helpful. The teachers have such great patience and are teaching my son soo much. I specifically picked this center from all of the others I spoke to because they do not use technology. Their teaching methods are old school which I love. My sons will learn enough about technology outside of daycare I much prefer the organic way of teaching. I recommend this center to family and friends, a few have enrolled their kids in KinderCare facilities including this one. This is a great place.

As a new parent, I was worried about putting my son in daycare. The directors and teachers at Kindercare in St Charles quickly took that worry away. They were very welcoming and warm with my family. They provided updates throughout the work day - including pictures! - to make sure I knew what was going on. It calmed my nerves and I knew my son was receiving great care. My son always leaves the center smiling and sweaty, showing me he had a good day of play and fun! He’s 18 months and has been picking up tons of words since joining the daycare, including thank you and all done! I’m very happy with our decision!
