We couldn't be happier with our experience at Sunnyvale Kindercare. Seeing our child grow into such a wonderful, confident individual has been a joy, and we owe so much of that to this school. I want to give a special mention to Ms. Debbie and Ms. Mariah for their incredible teaching. Our child absolutely loved going to daycare every day and truly enjoyed the time spent with them—they are such wonderful, caring educators. I also want to thank the Assistant Director, Ms. Lorraine, for running such a professional yet warm institution.. The entire team, including the hardworking staff, is exceptionally caring, responsible, and always available when we have questions. It’s clear they put their hearts into everything they do. Highly recommended!

I’ve toured several preschools for my child, and absolutely loved how clean this center was. The facility was thoughtfully designed for children to learn through play and exploration! The director was very hands on and made sure to answer any questions I had. I highly recommend this childcare center to any family looking for a trustworthy, loving, and structured environment for their child.

My son has been attending KinderCare since he was 6 months old. Everyone in the staff has become part of our extended family. They love each children and take great care of them. My son was not a great sleeper, and they treated him with so much patience, giving him as many naps in arms as he needed until he was ready for his cribs naps. We are getting close to changing classes age and I’m not even going to look into other daycare centers. They are truly the best. I couldn’t be more thankful.

We toured at 4 local daycares and we loved two of them and 1 was fine but not great - Sunnyvale KinderCare, though, was far and away the worst! There is no way THEY could pay ME for my child to go here. We toured their facility for our 4 month old and when we got inside the room for small babies, they didn’t make us take off our shoes like the other daycares did (and should!) but, more importantly, we entered into a room of meltdown CHAOS inside - most parents’ worst nightmare! 8 teeny babies screaming at the top of their lungs and only 2 overwhelmed caregivers (which they confirmed is how many they said are ever there). 1 was giving a bottle and the other was trying to soothe one of the screaming babies. The other 6 babies were spread around the room each wailing, fully desperate for a response or soothing from anyone. Who knows how long they’d been like that or how much longer after we left. I couldn’t help but think about how their little cortisol levels would be through the roof and how bad an environment like this would be for infants over time. Truly traumatic in my opinion. I wonder if their parents know what their little ones actually go through and how little attention they might get when they need it. Plus, this place is just as expensive or even more so than other daycares in the area with higher reviews and a better ratio of caregivers to young babies. They were also bragging about some special certification they have that other daycares in the area don’t but, for us, none of that can make up for what those babies were going through during our short tour not to mention their subpar health protocols for touring parents walking through the area with shoes on while babies were laying on the floor. If you’re even considering this place for child under one year (I honestly can’t imagine why you would), I’d strongly recommend making multiple visits. We could not get out of there fast enough!

My youngest son attended KinderCare Sunnyvale from infancy up to the Kindergarten class. Here is my honest review through the years- All throughout his stay, the teachers have been wonderful. They were attentive, met his needs, and addressed any issue or concern I had. The first director when we started, I believe her name was Telma, was unprofessional and strange, but once they replaced her, everything was great on the administrative side. The teachers seemed happy to me, and close. Yes, he had a few accidents over the years, but what child hasn’t? The poor reviews I see from others, I’m assuming are from less seasoned parents who are super overprotective and don’t seem to understand that their child isn’t the only one in the classroom, and also didn’t stick through the adjustment period of first enrolling. Yes, a parent has every right to be uneasy and worried when first enrolling their child at a center but please also understand this- if your child sees and senses that in you, they will also be apprehensive and nervous. You have to mask those feelings in front of your child and appear confident, so that your child is more at ease. You model a positive connection with the teachers and center, your child will follow suit. All the classrooms he attended were wonderful, and he was very happy there. Any child I may have seen crying, I imagined was simply having a tantrum and needed to get it out of their system before the teacher could comfort them. I know that’s what I’ve had to do at home when he’s had his “moments.” I truly felt my son was adored by each and every one of his teachers. Stick around through Kindergarten- the children leave the program already reading and writing and beyond ready for first grade! So please, do yourself a favor and relax and get to know this center and the amazing staff who work so hard to create meaningful experiences for your family.
