What Parents Say
KinderCare Learning Center in Redlands receives overwhelmingly positive reviews praising staff professionalism, care quality, communication with parents, and support for children with special needs. However, serious concerns have been raised by two parents regarding staff conduct, inadequate supervision, pest issues, and mishandling of child safety incidents.
My daughter has been going here as an infant and at first their services were great but the years went on I have noticed teachers yelling and grabbing children by their arms, one teacher refused to give my daughter water, a teacher begged me and other parents to report cockroaches in the facility since administration officials weren’t taking teachers claims serious enough and the last straw that did it was when they try to sweep under the rug my child was molested by older kid with no supervision. When the situation was addressed they claimed that child would never since it’s not their “character” they try to blame my child’s swollen genitals on maybe not wiping right but ignored the fact someone penetrated her private area. My child’s school addressed the situation wonderfully and principal was appalled by how this daycare handle it. They refused to suspend the other child and put the victim in an uncomfortable environment. I pulled her out immediately and the only thing they ever called back for was for me to completed my sign in sheet for the month instead of apologizing for the way they handled the situation, very least never ask if my child was ok. This is very upsetting and I hope ever parent takes this into consideration.
I am beyond grateful for the director and staff at Barton Road KinderCare. They have gone above and beyond to support my son, who has special needs, making sure he feels safe, included, and understood. Their patience, kindness, and dedication truly touch my heart. Knowing he’s surrounded by people who genuinely care makes all the difference for our family.
This facility has done a great job with our son and his development. They provided a engaging learning environment with endearing staff and flexible hours. The only concern I have is when great teachers leave their place. I know that turnover is inevitable, but it is always hard when my son has to say goodbye to a teacher he loves.
The staff was so kind and put my mind at ease after dropping my 6 month old off for the first time. They kept me informed by sending photos of her playing and provided a feeding log as well as a diaper change log for the day. I definitely recommend this center to my friends and family.
If I could give 0 stars I would. My friend went to pick up her 2 yr old son yesterday and witnessed an aide pulling her son by the arm out from under a table trying to get a toy away from him with a disgusted look on her face. The aide was unaware that she was being watched she was told “Don’t you ever touch my son that way again” her response was “Sorry”. My friend spoke with the Director and her reply was that she will speak with the aide. If this was my child being treated this way I wouldn’t hesitate to handle it a different way. This is totally unacceptable for anyone especially an aide who is being paid to care for children to behave in this manner, I would strongly advise this aide to rethink her employment at this facility. If this happened once I’m sure it will reoccur. Parents please speak with your children look out for any signs of abuse at this facility. So heartbreaking to leave your babies where they are not being cared for properly. It just takes 1 rotten apple to ruin this place.
