I highly recommend Kindercare at South Brunswick! All of the staff are engaging, friendly, helpful and enthusiastic. I know the teachers all pay attention and truly care about my kids because they will tell me about their day and describe them to a tee. My children are both very attached to me but all of the teachers ALWAYS help and make drop offs as smooth as possible. Many of the teachers have been there for many years like Ms. Mia, Ms. Lauren, Ms. Tami and Ms. Azfar and it SHOWS because they all truly care and love the children like their own. Ms. Lauren is BEYOND amazing. The director Ms. Dawn is also wonderful and helped me easily transition my children and continues to be available for any questions I may have- she has even responded to me on weekends! I am lucky to have them all care for my children. What’s important to me? A safe, fun and engaging environment for my children while I’m at work and that’s EXACTLY what you get with the south brunswick Kindercare!
Amazing care center and loving teachers! I can’t say enough how wonderful about KinderCare at “South Brunswick “. My older son was attending KinderCare south Brunswick as a backup, he absolutely loved here and the teachers too. So we definitely send my daughter here even it’s 20 mins drive from our house. My daughter has attended full days since she was just 4 months old and now she is almost 16 months, I truly see how much the love, care, enthusiasm, and dedication from Miss Mia and the teachers put into their work every day. They always keep me updated on my daughter’s wellness, activities, development and also gives me peace of mind while I am working. It’s really a love, warm, nurturing environment place to help my daughter thrive. Seeing my little one happy, engaged and growing each day is the best feeling and we love the center a lot, especially Miss Mia. Our experience with this daycare has been extremely disappointing. And if we could turn back time we would never send our kid there. The transition period, which is already a sensitive time for young children, was handled with little empathy or understanding. Rather than offering support, teachers appeared impatient and dismissive of our child emotional needs. I witnessed children being threatened with having their behavior "reported" to their parents, which felt more like a scare tactic than a constructive teaching approach. They use punishment for whatever they called ‘bad behavior’ that involves isolating kids from the rest of the class—a practice that felt both emotionally harsh and counterproductive. Instead of trying to understand the root of a child’s behavior or offering guidance, emotions were often dismissed or ignored altogether. While questioned with concerns they responded in very defensive, unprofessional and disrespectful way, making me feel like a bad parent. After notifying the management about the situation they didn’t even respond. What I had hoped would be a nurturing and supportive environment turned out to be the opposite. I urge the management to re-evaluate their training, approach to discipline, and overall communication with families. Every child deserves a safe, respectful, and emotionally supportive space to grow—and sadly, that was not our experience here.
My son started going here when he was 2 and half years old and he absolutely loves this school from the beginning. He has been going to day care from when he turned one year old but we never saw him enjoy as much as he does here. He has started talking more, expressing more and really loves his teachers who take care of him like their own. All his friends are so very kind and he loves playing with them. Thank you Kinder care at South Brunswick for taking care of our son.
