Kindercare Learning Center

I had a walk through 11/19 at 10am. I was greeted at the front desk by a girl wearing a “Hell Fire” hoodie from Stranger Things. A giant devil right there on the front. She did not know how to give the tour, was very unsure in what she was saying. The first room I went to was straight down the hall to the left. A baby room. As I was looking in, the teacher and her assistant were handling naps or a transition period where some infants were in the cribs. The main teachers body language showed frustration. I watched her grab an infant, I believe a little girl (if I remember correctly she was blonde with a jean jacket on) and forcefully put her on the floor. She then took a pacifier and shoved it in the babies mouth again as if she was frustrated. When she looked at me through the glass she could tell that I saw her, she was uncomfortable and her teachers aide looked uncomfortable too. They both flashed a strange “got ya” smile and could not hold eye contact directed my way. I should have stopped the tour then and reported them. It has been weighing heavy on my heart, but as people know child care centers have waitlists and I had to choose between getting care for my children or ultimately doing the right thing and reporting them. Waiting a month to call the director was my fault, but finally bringing in that report is better than not doing it at all. I apologize to the little girls family if they read this one day and see that I hesitated. I left Kindercare in tears. The lack of professionalism at the front desk, they could not find my children’s file, the whole place was dirty and overstimulating. But that incident at the infant classroom will be in my mind for quite some time. I spoke with the director on the phone, she was a director from Nisky and was filling in for the old director. She was blindsided and handled my complaint very professionally, but I would not recommend Kindercare in Clifton Park.

My 2 children have been going here for 4 months now and the staff are fantastic. They care for your children like they are their own. Any time there has been an issue, you can talk with the director and they remedy it right away. I have complete trust in the staff to take care of my kids.

I wouldn't leave my enemys kids here. Jennifer Brown the director treated my niece like dirt. She worked there as a toddler assistant and was constantly belittled.

My step daughter goes to kindercare and she’s in a multiage classroom! She’s loves all her teachers and has made so many friends. The kindercare staff helped us a lot with getting her potty trained and having more social skills with more kids her age!

We have really liked it here at Clifton KinderCare. Our children’s teachers really care and the directors really spend time and thought to hire teachers they think will be a good fit. My kids love going every morning, grandparents can see videos and pictures of activities from the day and my kids have really learned a lot. My oldest child can already do addition and subtraction and is almost reading . The teachers really want our children to learn and overall our experience at this daycare has been a lot better than the last one we were at. Some of the other comments I find a bit funny, as we were at other daycares in the area and had awful experiences (way way way worse with staffing and cleanliness) and at this daycare my children are learning grade levels ahead and aren’t even in grade school yet with teachers who truly want to teach them.
