I’m not one who typically leaves reviews but honestly I feel like this one is well deserved. My son has been attending Kindercare Great Valley since he was 4 months old. I can’t say it was always a smooth journey from the beginning and at one point under the previous leadership, my husband and I considered switching to another daycare due to various issues the center was experiencing (it wasn’t the teachers, they were great). What changed our mind is the new leadership that stepped in. I see a difference in the atmosphere of the center and better yet, my son began showing off his personality as he got more comfortable. He is constantly learning new skills and introduced to new activities. The teachers and directors update me not only through the app but in person as well when I go to pick him up. I can’t begin to express how helpful and comforting that is to me. Just today, my son’s teacher was kind enough to print out pictures of my son doing his “pumpkin painting” that was different than the picture sent through the app. What a pleasant surprise to receive at the end of a workday! All these positive changes began as soon as the new leadership stepped in. The center director always makes time for me and is attentive. I have gotten to know her and see how she cared for the children at the center. Every child that passes by her, always runs up and gives her the biggest hug (including my son)! She is constantly working on improving the center and it shows. The teachers she has hired to replace the ones that left under previous leadership are all wonderful, kind, and caring people. I am glad we decided to stay. I hope this review helps those who are looking for a daycare and should really come check out the Great Valley Kindercare!

If you care about your child never ever send them to this facility. Corporate does not care about their staff or the well being of the children. We enrolled our son in April. Since being there he has 14 incidents with him constantly getting bit by a child. He also fell get into a chair when he started in April two weeks after causing his tooth to hit the table and because he was too young to have a root canal we had to extract it. Again lack of staff and attention to children. We addressed it with the regional director Gina Ramos and it was fallen on deaf ears. Every single week he would get bit and she tried to justify saying well it’s the age group. Valid point and understanding but when it’s happening once a week that is completely unacceptable. Their ratio to kids and teachers is completely unsafe. The last straw was when I dropped my child off they had the chef has the lead teacher and the trip was 1 adult to 7 kids in a toddler room. The director has informed ms Ramos she needs help and they tried other methods such as foam blocks and bite necklaces to try and redirect the kid from biting my child and yet he still was getting bit. I took my son to the pediatrician for a rash around his diaper and the doctor said it’s a yeast infection from sitting in his own urine too long. I found out also his diaper changes were 3-4 hours in between. He’s a toddler! I will be notifying higher authorities as this place needs to be shut down. The one teacher Miss Tawana was absolutely pleasant and advocated for my son and the other assistant director Miss Taja as well. After speaking with Ms Ramos and meeting with the teachers and director the regional director brushed it off and said kids are not targets and how they take our aggression. I said well the biter needs to be shadowed and you need more staff because clearly having a chef in the classroom at prime drop off between 8-9 am is unacceptable as you should have a lead teacher in there. I have attached pictures. Parents stay far away from this facility. We have enrolled in a higher better school and it’s sad when you have a sinking feeling at kinder care when you are expecting an incident every week and knowing you don’t know if your kid is going to be ok. So glad we left this horrible facility.

I am grateful to have discovered this Center. As a working parent of a two-year-old daughter, I required reliable childcare. Initially I was apprehensive about leaving my child with unfamiliar individuals, but upon meeting the exceptional staff particularly director, Tannie Fenning, my concerns dissipated. Her fothright demeanor is as complemented by a heart of gold. She skillfully addressed my concerns, providing reassurance that my daughter is in good hands as a first time mother I am navigating a steep learning curve, but her guidance has been instrumental and helping me develop the skills and confidence necessary to provide optimal care for my daughter. She is the facility’s backbone and her boss’ decision to hire her was the best one made for the establishment’s operation. The Center’s atmosphere is warm and inviting, putting me at ease every time I visit. When I drop my daughter off I am confident that she is happy safe and receiving care from individuals who genuinely have her best interest at Heart.

Our son is now 16 months and he has been at this Kindercare since he was about 3-4 months old. At first we weren’t sure if we would be able to keep him at Kindercare. There were a few issues that we were concerned about. He has a lot of energy for his age and can be very demanding. However, as time went by they turned the program around and hired new staff. The teachers now at Kindercare have shown us that they truly enjoy spending time with him and they take great care of him day in and out. He is there every day and we can’t imagine taking him anywhere else. Thanks to all the people who work there and that make sure our son is taken care of every day.

Cannot in good faith recommend this place. We sent our son here for a year and he was miserable. His first teacher was extremely unprofessional. His second teacher was kind and cared a lot about the kids. However, the curriculum was lacking, and several parents felt they had to supplement learning for their pre-k aged children because they weren’t learning anything there. Worst of all, our child was no longer napping. Because there was not enough staff, he was forced to sit on a cot in the dark for 2-3hours while all the kids slept around him. Imagine spending 10-15hrs every single week in the dark with no phone, no books (because a 3yr old can’t read), no one to talk to and just a few small toys. We found out about this treatment because the teachers complained to us that he would have only sit still for 45minutes everyday before getting up and trying to play…. A three year old sitting quietly in the dark for 45 minutes seems like an accomplishment. He would cry everyday about nap time, but we had no idea he was suffering so severely. We ended up having to pick him up every day for that 3hour period then bringing him back. The kicker is that more time often than not, even after that long period, the kids were still in nap time. Thankfully he didn’t have to deal with this his entire time there, but that was because one of the teachers was sacrificing her lunch to make sure he wasn’t alone. Once she was forced to take her lunch (which she of course should be getting), his torture began. It still broke our hearts to find out he had been suffering for weeks. There were a few good educators there but I would never subject a child to that place.
