Our family had the worst experience with Glen Ellyn KinderCare. I had to remove my daughter from this daycare completely last year after a very upsetting incident. My concerns were reported to the corporate office, but I’ve decided to finally share this publicly after my daughter recently reminded me again of what happened. My daughter was hit by a teacher after she had an accident and didn’t make it to the bathroom in time. Even worse, the teacher asked the whole class to look at her and laugh because of it. My daughter still remembers this incident vividly, even though it happened last year. For a child to carry that memory so clearly says everything about how traumatic it was for her. The environment, the service, and everything people describe in the positive reviews mean nothing when a little girl is treated this way. No child should ever experience being humiliated and hurt in a place that’s supposed to be safe and caring.
We have had our daughter in the infant room at Glen Ellyn Kindercare for almost 3 months now and have had a very positive experience so far. The director Sarah is friendly & a great communicator. The aids in the room are attentive and friendly. We feel very safe with the staff & happy with our choice of Daycare!
We have had SUCH a wonderful experience with Glen Ellyn Kindercare. Our daughter has been attending for 6 months in the 2s program and we could not be more pleased. She is excited every morning to go to school and we always feel the love and care from her teachers - they are WONDERFUL. Everyone at the kindercare is helpful, kind, compassionate and fun. We absolutely lucked out when we enrolled here!
We have both our children at this center and are very happy with our decision. The director, Jill, always keeps us informed of center changes. The teachers are welcoming and provide a structured environment for their students. There are 2 large play areas (tots and big kids) so the kids get plenty of outdoor time. As parents, we are always kept informed how our children are progressing and are given options for additional courses (music, phonics, etc) that can be offered as part of their education. We highly recommend Kindercare Glen Ellyn!
We love this center! The teachers are attentive, nurturing, and fun. The directors communicate clearly and are responsive to questions/needs. My kids have made great friends and grown immensely at KinderCare.
