I wanted to leave a review because this care facility seems really nice but perhaps there seems to be some operation transitions that are happening that makes the staff feel overwhelmed. I originally had my child setup for October but needed to be updated to September. When I called there appeared to be no problem to have her added to the class starting in September despite the previous director telling me that it wasn't a possibility. I requested that my information be updated, and I receive confirmation emails on the start date & orientation date. I had to call multiple times and sent an email for this information with nothing in return. I also called numerous times where nobody answered, and this location does not have a voicemail option. Leading up to the care of my child I wasn't feeling very confident. There are a lot of great reviews of this facility, and this is not about the care they provide since I didn't get that far but rather feeling like their organization and management didn't feel on top of it.
My child goes here and she loves it! No reason to complain, super patient teacher at toddler classroom. I am at ease when my child is at center. Lots of learning activities and playtime. average food but great care. My child do get sick but she have build a great immune system after going here and fight her sickness back.
My son started at this facility as an infant and I had no reason to complain. Around the time he started in the toddler class, this place had a new director and she is amazing! Her, and all of the staff, truly care about the children. They always take time to talk to the parents about any concerns, or if it's just to chat about what your kid did that day. They have really stepped up with extra health and safety standards as well. This place takes away all my anxiety of being a working mom and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for childcare.
This location has been so amazing. My 9.5 month old started going there when he was 3 months and the staff has taken such great care of him and help with his development so much. Emily, the director, is so sweet and reassuring. She will help in anyway she can. My son's teacher Ms. Hilda is so sweet and loving to my son. She treats him like one of her own children making sure he is rocked to sleep and always makes sure he is learning the most he can. She also has reassured me at times and helped me to know which milestones to look out for since I am a first time mom. Ms. Amelia is so amazing. The other day I had concerns about my sons babbling and she was able to reassure me that he has been making progress. The app they use is amazing and it allows me to check on my son throughout the day and she what he has done that day. We wish our son can stay here for his care, but sadly we have to move. They will surely be missed when we do move.
We have been with Mill Creek Kindercare for 5 years, from infant to pre-k. The professional and personal connection and support has been nothing short of amazing. We’ve been through the transitions of staffing through Covid, from almost all the teachers all the way to director, and as the new staff came on, they did so with grace and integrity. Keturah (Ms. K, as the newest director has brought such a loving light to the already incredible staff. We couldn’t have been more blessed to have such a wonderful team of caregivers during this chapter of navigating work and raising a child.
