This has been one of the most awful experiences I’ve had at a daycare. The teachers have a language barrier which in turn makes it difficult to understand what occurs during the day. I tried repeatedly to get information about my son’s day for over 2.5 months. Some of the “teachers” wouldn’t understand me & pointed to someone else to answer me. Others just said “… uh um he had a great day.” Then I would get an incident report of how a kid scratched him or pushed him that very same day. To make everything worse, he was shuffled from class to class and teacher to teacher. At one point they moved him, a 4 year old, to a class with students who had just turned 3. The maturity and communication differences of a 2/3 year old to a 4yo only frustrated him more. Accordingly, the routine, “teachers”, rules, and schedule was different from class to class. Any little child would have a hard time transitioning continually. The interventions taken by the “teachers” were absymal or not done at all. Due to lack of oversight and instability, he acted out. I was told at his quarterly report that he was doing well, making friends & napping. Two weeks later an interim director was unkind and aggressive toward me as well as my son for his behavior. How was I supposed to know if I was wolf different? I attempted to contact and speak with all the caretakers for months to see how he was doing. Then, I started getting passive aggressive messages about getting him early. Do yourself a favor and don’t waste your time or money— and this goes for all Kindercares in the area. I have multiple CPS cases for different abuses he was suffered at their hands. There are many, many at home daycares that are much better. I have visited about 10 of them in the Lynnwood/Bothell/Everett/Snohomish area to find the right fit for my son All Kindercares need to be shut down.

Our family was looking to move to the area and searching for trustworthy childcare when we came across Bothell Kindercare. We had an INCREDIBLE tour with their center director, Amelia Langshaw, and couldn’t have been more excited and relieved to find a place so reliable and headed by such a warm, welcoming, and knowledgeable person. The teachers followed her suit and you could tell her attitude was reflected across all staff. I’m so disappointed we ended up moving to a different area, but couldn’t sing their praises more. From mom to mom, family to family, enroll here.

Our daughter has been going to Thrasher’s Corner KinderCare since she was 10 weeks old and she is now 2.5 years old. We have had a fantastic experience during these years and the KinderCare staff has become her second family. They have well trained staff and curriculum that has helped immensely in the development of my daughter. I can’t thank them enough for taking such good care of her and helping her with her language and behavioral skills. Each classroom is clean and well equipped for the appropriate age range kids. The center is properly secured and the administrators keep us well informed about any incidents that happen and deal with the situations in a very tactful manner. We are very satisfied with this center as our child care provider.

We started sending our two year old son to KC since last September and have had a very positive experience with this center. My toddler son picked up a lot of good habits from his interactions with the staff/other kids in the class. He enjoys going to daycare and has fond memories of playing with fellow kids in daycare/interacting with his daycare teachers. His social skills in interacting with kids of his age has been pretty commendable. Some staff do need to work on improving hygiene/cleanliness, which can help go a long way in making this an excellent daycare overall.

Our child started in the Infant Room and will continue here indefinitely. We love the teachers and center. The latest center director has also helped set some consistently with teachers.
