What Parents Say
KinderCare Learning Center in Elkridge receives consistently positive feedback from parents who praise the caring, attentive staff and welcoming environment. Parents report their children thrive academically and emotionally, with strong teacher-child bonds and excellent communication through daily photos and updates. One parent noted management and quality issues in 2022 that have since improved under new leadership.
We switched to this KinderCare almost two years ago (started in toddlers and now in Twos) and have had a great experience so far. My son has multiple major food allergies and they are able to accommodate all his meals/snacks - which to me is a huge benefit! He looks forward to going to school and loves talking about his day, teachers and friends. We are going to be starting our daughter in infants in January and look forward to continue watching them both grow at the center. I love the photos, videos and updates throughout the day, as well!
We love this center! We started our oldest child here as an infant from 2019 to 2022. It's always had a very comfortable and welcoming feel. When management changed in 2022, a lot of issues that popped up and the center shut down for a while. We went to a different center nearby for a couple years but we came back to Kindercare Elkridge in September 2024 after my youngest started experiencing a lot of problems at the other center. Right away I was impressed with the new management (it had changed again) - Ms. Christina was my oldest child's infant teacher so I remembered how awesome and caring she was. She really knows how a good center and good teacher should operate. Ms. Amanda is the new director and when I met her, one of the things that sold me was that she was slowly trying to build the center back up - she'd rather wait to open a classroom until she could find quality teachers to run it, rather than just get warm bodies in there to collect more tuition. Our other center the past couple years was very corporate and when my daughter was experiencing issues, rather than help her or us, they worked to push us out. On the flip side, my youngest is now in the 2s class with Ms. Heather and Ms. Chelsea and she has grown in so many ways, but especially emotionally and socially. You can tell these 2 truly care about the kids and creating developmentally appropriate and engaging activities. Ms. Heather was also my oldest's teacher when we were here before and she's always been very nurturing and supportive, no matter what the kid is going through. Unlike our old center where we were treated like "problems", the teachers and management at Kindercare partnered with us to give our 2 year old a supportive and nurturing environment where we could address her challenges (which have dramatically improved) and also experience quality learning. We didn't realize how much we missed this place until we came back. To go from a sterile, corporate center, to Kindercare Elkridge where, while still corporate, feels a lot different. Like a home daycare feel with the benefits and structure of a childcare center. Our 2 year old also started loving school and felt comfortable within the first week. This center really cares about their families and sees the child as a whole, not as a dollar sign like other centers. I'm so thankful and very glad we came back.
My infant went here briefly while we waited for a spot at a Kindercare closer to home to open up and we fell in love. Ms. Nakia and Ms. Kelley are so sweet, love the kids so much, and take such great care of them. They keep the infants engaged with fun activities that encourage their development. I highly recommend this center, especially the infant program!
We started my daughter as an infant at 3 months and have been there ever since (She is in the 2s classroom now). Every single teacher we have had has been absolutely amazing! My daughter loves them and has a huge smile on her face when she's dropped off in the morning. She is making friends and learning valuable life skills. It makes me feel so good knowing she is loved and cared for while I'm at work.
We are very happy with this center. Initially, we had to transfer our child from another daycare after 4 days since we were disappointed with that experience. Our neighbor referred us here and the teachers & directors have been very supportive & understanding of our situation. We had flexibility to start her part-time and then transition to full-time at a pace that worked for us. Another plus is that there is no need to pack lunch for working parents which is a time-saver. And I think it is more fun for all kids to eat the same kind of meal. My child has been very happy here and bonds well with the teachers. I highly recommend parents checking this place out. Childhood is so short and we all want our children to have the best experience. Keep up the good work Kindercare.
