I am writing to express concern about the safety of children at Kinder Care, located at 3199 Custer Drive, Lexington, KY. At approximately 10:45 am, I witnessed four toddlers, aged 2-4, unsupervised in the road. The teacher appeared distracted despite having a large class outside. I am alarmed that the facility's fences, equipped with locks to prevent escape, were ineffective. I immediately contacted the school and law enforcement. I urge parents who entrust their children to this daycare to reconsider, as this incident highlights a disturbing lapse in supervision. The children's safety was compromised, and they were at risk of being struck by an oncoming truck that I had to stop. I implore parents to be vigilant and ensure their children's well-being. I enrolled my 15 month old child in Kinder Care in Lexington, KY. After meeting the center's director, I wouldn't put my child anywhere else. Pam has a heart for children and loves everyone there. They helped me with getting her assessed and into therapy. I feel like they go above and beyond for me but I know they do that for every parent and child there. I enjoy their app and getting updates all day long on my daughter. I enjoy seeing pictures and watching videos of her. They have a great classroom curriculum and fun activities for the children. I have 100% confidence in this center. Check it out for yourself and talk with Pam, you will see why I love this daycare so much!
BEST DAYCARE AROUND! The teachers are so amazing, and happy. Ms. Pam, Ms. Megan, and Ms. Melinda run this location like an absolute dream. They genuinely care about the kids, and their families, and are completely invested. It isn't just an 8-5 job, they come in extra early and leave late to ensure the kids are getting a wonderful education. My daughter is constantly asking to go see her teachers or directors. She loves going to school there. She also learns so much, I never imagined sending my little one to daycare would teach her so much. She's happy there, it's worth the cost, cheaper than several other daycares in the area. It is a well-oiled machine, and my daughter won't go anywhere else until it's time for her to enter kindergarten. Thank you for caring for our kids the way you do!
We love it. My son is non verbal autistic so finding quality childcare has been a challenge. When I drop him off he is always smiling. He loves his teacher Ms. Terra. She is amazing. I get pictures all day of my little guy playing and hanging out with his little friends. I get updated about all of his activities. Making payments is a breeze and the director and office staff have always went above and beyond to help make sure I understand everything and all the payments, which is very important to me. The newest director is amazing, I have even seen her in the classroom several times helping out. she is very involved with her staff and kids. I can go about my day and know my little guy is taken care of. His disability does come with challenges but Custer KinderCare staff never leave him out. They always include Aiden and make sure he is involved in the classroom and all the activities going on. All the rooms are very safe, even with his tendency to run they are always ready and take extra protective steps to keep my little guy safe. We have tried other daycares and no wheres I have taken him is as caring, trustworthy and inclusion geared as Custer KinderCare. The fact that they have never made either one of us feel out of place or not welcomed is refreshing. It feels like family here. As long as Aiden has to be in daycare this is the only one I trust him to be enrolled at. Unlike other places there are no hidden fees or extra charges the staff and director explained everything and made sure I understood what I was signing and made sure I was comfortable with everything. There was no pressure during the tour, you could tell they genuinely want your family to be happy and comfortable. They go the extra mile to make sure when you leave your kid there you leave knowing everything is good.
My children attended for a little over a year and a half and we were very pleased. My 4 year old enjoyed her classes and made many friends, and I could tell they were taking her pre-school education seriously and giving her good learning activities to do. My school-age son also had a generally positive experience. Whenever we had any problems they were quickly addressed, and with the pandemic, center director Pam went above and beyond to make sure our son was well cared for and had the help he needed for remote learning. They communicated quickly and clearly about pandemic-related center closures and policies. I highly recommend this place.
