What Parents Say
Kim's Daycare receives highly polarized reviews with 6 five-star ratings praising the staff's care, cleanliness, and ability to prepare children for school, but 3 one-star ratings citing owner conflicts, excessive TV time, poor facility conditions, frequent closures, and high staff turnover. Parents who had negative experiences report their children showed significant improvement after transferring to other daycares.
I have taken all 3 of my kids here and wouldn't have wanted anyone else taking care of them! Kim's daycare helped prepare my kids for school by helping them get on a schedule. I could stop by at any time and the house was always cleaned no matter what time of day. My kids absolutely loved going to Kim's daycare.
My daughter has been here for about two years now and we absolutely love it, we had an awful experience at another daycare in town and Kim made us feel so comfortable there. We now have both of our kids there my son is 9 months old and he’s been there since he was 8 weeks old! I absolutely trust Kim, Allison, Shelby, Robbie, and Amy with both my kids. They've made us feel like family 💜
I could never say enough about how great Kim's Daycare is. Kim and Kristen both treated my daughter like one of their own. My daughter would cry to stay at the end of the day because she always has so much fun. If you need a loving place to send your child and they happen to have a open spot take my word and jump on it
Kim’s was a great place at first until things started shifting for us there. Kim is always right - she will argue with you over what your pediatrician has said. She will never let you speak or get a word in. The amount of TV time is unreal at that place. We always received a coloring page of a yellow duck or a blue fish - what are kids learning from that? We were also told that the kids wouldn’t be going outside because the teachers were “allergic” to the grass. the amount of money we sent for books, cleaning supplies, etc. it was filthy and always smelled moldy and dirty. After mentioning something on Facebook (my personal Facebook) about them being closed for spring break week and still paying the daycare AND a sitter - she bashed me over the phone when one of her employees told her about it (bc she doesn’t have Facebook) and told me to come get my kid and not come back. May I add, we found a new daycare the following week and within a month, she showed HUGE improvement with learning new things and even talking better (using words in her sentences). I wouldn’t even send my dog to Kim’s Daycare. Unprofessional, rude, unethical, and fake. I wouldn’t even give this place a 1 star. Do your research before you send your babies.
If you love your children, do NOT put them here. That door stays locked for a reason! There's no cameras for reasons! My child was so sad, no emotions, not eating, etc. Changed daycares and my child is a whole new kid. Laughing again, playing again, eating again. Kim is a narcissist and always thinks she is right no matter what. She will argue with you so disrespectfully just to prove she's right even if she's wrong. I heard lawsuits were involved and it's just a bad bad place to send kids. If you love your child do not send them here. If Kim leaves maybe the place will be a decent place. The inside is very dull and bland and needs a MAJOR updating. I say new management and new paint and no stained nasty carpets. The owner would make so much more money if she made this change.
