My daughter has gone to KLPS from age 2 until starting kindergarten and we will be sending our second child here as well. We love it, my child has always been well cared for and stimulated. She will be going to elementary school in fall knowing how to behave in a classroom, lunchroom, and in social situations. She is advanced in reading and math compared to others her age. The teachers come and go, but the QUALITY is determined by the director and she demands nothing but the best from all her staff and is willing to work with you if there is ever any questions or issues.

Wouldn’t want my three babies to go anywhere else! They love going to school, playing & learning. My children are well taken care of and loved so much. I appreciate the staff so much!

Truly one of the worst day cares in the area. I had my child there for a little over a year, and pulled her out as soon as there was an opening somewhere else. In short, here are some things that you should know about KLPS. To be fair, there are some teachers who truly love the kids. However, the owner keeps hiring these temp staff for afternoons who dress very inappropriately and are clearly there just for a paycheck. Many of the teachers, just like the owner, love to gossip and are not discreet about the gossip. Many of the teachers do not communicate with one another, so I had to constantly tell every teacher the same thing over and over so that I knew everyone was on the same page. I am not picky and all the requests I made were reasonable. Yet, they rarely would follow through. It was clear that many of the teachers are ill prepared. However, I want to point out that there are some who are good, but do not stay there long and leave or were talking about leaving. The manager was really good, but it felt like the owner was constantly under cutting her and truly I have no idea why the manager is still there with her talent. During the process of finding another daycare, I learned more about the day care. All you have to do is go to the Florida DCF website to learn why there are so many problems. If you go to the FLDCF website and search KLPS, you will see that for the past 3 years, they have consistently gotten in trouble with their inspections. Bottom line, I would NOT recommend this daycare to anyone.

They change dipers at their schedule, so if your childred don't follow it, they will just wear the dirty ones.
