What Parents Say
Kidz K'Nect receives highly polarized reviews, with strong praise from satisfied long-term families highlighting caring staff, educational curriculum, and secure facilities, but serious complaints from other parents regarding staff payroll issues, lack of accommodations for children with behavioral needs, and inadequate supervision and care practices.
My first kid started here at 6months old and is almost 7 and still here now with her 2 younger siblings that both started as infants. I’ve never had issues with any staff or had anything bad happen to my kids throughout their time here. Sharon, the owner, is there almost everyday to receive my kids and is super friendly. All of the staff is friendly and they all really do care about the kids they care for. The owners have become like family to me and my babies which I really appreciate since I have to work to take care of them it gives me a lot of peace of mind knowing they are in good hands every day. My kids have a lot of fun here and come home a lot of days with age appropriate papers (learning, coloring, etc.) that they worked on that day and the teachers go outside even when it’s hot outside with the kids letting them play under the entrance so I can say they are hands on and definitely don’t just let the kids sit there doing nothing all day. Security here is top notch as well! The entrance is gated and there’s a lock on the door that requires a teacher to unlock to allow people in and out. I picked this place years ago because it was the closest place to where I lived and now looking back I’m so glad it was them I chose and couldn’t imagine them anywhere else.
Would not recommend daycare. If your child have special circumstances. Please find a daycare that’s fully staffed to deal with your child. They spitefully terminated my services while I was in the process of getting help for my 3year old who is suffering from some behavioral issues. 10/29/2024 Sharon, this souped up half acknowledgment of yours is 8 months late which is very much not needed at this time. However, it does reflect the inattentive to the needs of the families that you care for at your facility. The lack of compassion and unwillingness was very much disheartening at that time but thankfully we have moved own and found a facility that truly cares for and is inclusive of all kids. Yet, 8 months later I still would not recommend this facility. Also to add, the owner operator of the facility was very well made aware of my child issues before accepting her into her facility and did not offer the “said resources” that was listed under another review. Again, if you’re looking for child care look beyond this facility. If you need assistance with recommendations.
Definitely a NO. My child had no developmental issues. At two years old, they left her in a crib, ALL DAY, and failed to change her dirty diaper. They complained to me for her playing in the poo in her diaper as she was left in a crib alone all day with no activities for enrichment. This daycare has rude staff. They refuse to listen. They refuse to allow spot checks where I can drop in and visit/check on my child (event though the state allows). Don’t put your child here. There’s another daycare, not much further away at the same price that is actually good.
Very Very critical staff not willing to work with the parent of my Grandbaby. There should have been a discussion between parent and staff before child was totally Dismissed from Daycare. What kind of people are u all.i never seen such in my Entire life. This should have been handled Better.i think that she Deserves another chance because it was done without the parent being present.
As a 1st time/stay at home mom for my daughter's first 6 months I was especially nervous about putting her in daycare, however I am so pleased. The director is professional and serious about the center. She is actively at the center daily for any questions or concerns and loves the kids. The teachers are also very kind. My daughter loves seeing the familiar faces in the morning and never has an issue with going with her teacher. My daughter was running a fever one day after her nap and I was called promptly to pick her up. They have a very strict but fair standard for sick children and closely abide by the standard. If you can appreciate a healthy environment for your child, you realize that the rules pertain to every child even if yours is the one who happens to be sick. This daycare also serves the purpose of convenience. If you live in the Cypress Station area it's very easily accessible and is always an in and out process. Another bonus is, compared to the price of other daycare centers in the area Kidz K'Nect takes the cake as well. I am very pleased with the service and quality provided with this daycare. Our apartment lease is up in a couple of months but my husband and I have decided to commute further to work because we want are daughter at Kidz K'Nect. They have made the process especially easy and I can honestly say that I do not worry about the well being of my child while she's there.
