Kidworks Preschool

The incredible staff members at Kid Works are in constant communication with us as parents. The webcams and app are a HUGE plus. We love being able to check in on our baby at any point in the day. Very accommodating, friendly, and professional. I highly recommend Kid Works to anyone looking for day care in Gainesville. 10/10

It’s my toddler’s 5th month in this daycare and we absolutely love it! I’m impressed by how much hands-on the management is. They know each kid very well. I had concerns about my son’s development and have received so much detailed input about everything he does; from his interactions with peers/teachers, his sensory preferences to his toileting/sleeping/eating habits which feels like everyone in this daycare knows my son so well and notices the tiny details I have monitored closely without me even asking them to. My son had to switch 2 daycares before and no manager had known much about his day-to-day like this place. The teachers are very very patient and gentle and they tailor to each kid’s needs without judgement. My son had been judged and neglected due to his speech delay in other daycares before and I think KidWorks is a place for him to heal. I watched my friends’ kids grow here from infancy till they went to KG. You wouldn’t want to put your kid anywhere else. I wish my son had started here as an infant, I would’ve known and watched every bit of his growth throughout these critical times of his development. I never thought I’d find a place that cares about my son’s well-being and future like KidWorks does. We’re so happy we are here!

Where to begin? Webcams! (Why don’t more centers have these?). Truly nice and engaged teachers and management. Lots of long-term main staff. Afternoon staff is more fluid but we’ve always felt our child is in good hands. Also their website is amazing. So much good info, and also parts of it are really hilarious.

Choosing this Preschool was one of the best decisions we made for our child. We were impressed that they published all of their DCF Inspection Reports on their website, and the Assistant Director who gave us our tour(s) couldn’t have been more patient, honest and open. Wait time to get in was longer than we would have liked but well worth the wait.

The accessibility of the Directors sets this school apart. I’ve literally texted Julie our school's Director at home at 9pm about a concern and gotten an instant response. You can tell she cares deeply about the program, and is supported by the school’s owners. We appreciate the webcams, the Brightwheel, the extended hours (we can’t always pick up before 6:30), and the Parents Nights Out are a wonderful benefit. We love that all the proceeds go directly to the staff working the events.
