We couldn’t be happier with Kidtastic Kids. Since starting here, my niece, nephew, and daughter have truly opened up and learned how to communicate better. The growth we’ve seen is amazing. The teachers are patient, supportive, and genuinely care about each child’s development. They create a warm, safe environment where kids feel comfortable expressing themselves and building confidence. It’s been incredible to watch my child thrive socially and emotionally. I’m so grateful for the positive impact this school has had on our family and highly recommend it to any parent looking for a nurturing and encouraging preschool. I would also like to add that they did an amazing job encouraging my daughter to use the bathroom. I had a hard time potty training at home, and I expressed this to her teachers. They told me send her in underwear back in October and she has been completely potty trained since then.

When my child attended the UPK in September, I was told that the school would work with me even though he was not fully potty trained. If this was not something they could accommodate for the entire school year, I would have preferred to be told before enrollment rather than being misled after he was accepted. By February, I was asked a few times to pick up my child or come change him, even though I had always provided pull-ups. Each day at pickup, he was still wearing the same pull-up from the morning—dry at drop-off but completely soaked after six hours. I was only contacted regarding bowel movement changes, which raised concerns about the consistency of his care. Because I did not feel my child’s needs were being met, I withdrew him from the program and requested the return of my security deposit. This matter later went to small claims court, where the decision was based solely on the contract’s one-month notice clause, and the evidence I provided was not reviewed. While the policy itself was upheld, the lack of transparency and consistency from the beginning is what led to this situation. I am disappointed with how this was handled. I had withdrew my child from their preschool and enrolled somewhere else. My child was using the potty within a week or 2 on & off. Now he has been successfully been potty trained. I came to the conclusion that they had never put the effort to assist with the potty training like they said they were. I strongly encourage parents to ask detailed questions and obtain everything in writing to ensure a program is truly a good fit for their child.

My experience along with the issues I encountered & listed in my review about KIDTASTIC Kids UPK were far from excellent; therefore, I would not recommend the program to anyone. There are multiple negative reviews posted that reflect a range of concerns, and I believe they speak for themselves. Unfortunately, I did not review them prior to enrollment and wish that I did. Based on this experience, I will carefully review all available reviews prior to enrollment in the future. This experience has reinforced the importance of thoroughly reviewing all available feedback prior to enrollment. Additionally, my name is Nita, not the name referenced in your response. Accuracy and attention to detail are important, particularly in an educational setting responsible for the care of young children. Best regards & Happy New Year to you as well! We are also very pleased that our child is now receiving the care and support they need elsewhere. However, we would like to clarify that our concerns were not limited to toileting, but to the overall lack of appropriate accommodations and support provided in the UPK classroom. While we understand the limitations of a general education setting, there was no reasonable or humane way for any parent to agree to a child being neglected in urine for the duration of the school day or stool while waiting for a parent to arrive to change a diaper. This experience underscores the importance of appropriate placement, and we hope this experience can help improve support and communication for other families navigating similar situations or challenges in the future.

My son was enrolled in the preschool program through the middle country school district and our experience was great. They followed the required curriculum, my son learned and had so much fun while doing it. The entire staff was very kind and patient and his teacher Miss Kim was amazing and creative, she was able to keep 4 yo’s entertained while learning and encouraged their independence in preparation for kindergarten.

I did not have the best experience here. I have been going back and fourth on whether I should even write a review since its been some time since my daughter was there. But it is important for other families to have this type of knowledge before choosing a day care facility. The teachers that my daughter had were kind. As a mom of young children, communication was lacking and could improve. They posted on the app sporadically. I rarely knew what my daughter was doing during the day. I would reach out with questions directly with the directors and would get back days later. When I decided to leave, they told me I couldn't pull her out without the 30 day notice or it would affect my deposit. Because of that I decided to keep her there for the time being. When it came to getting my deposit back their answer to me was that they were in a freeze and could not pay it back to me. By that time, I had it! Keep my deposit, hope it helped to improving your establishment. Disappointing to say the least.
