Kids Usa #1

our eldest kept coming home with bruises all over him....we repeatedly approached the director with our concerns, and nothing was ever done about it. finally, when we threatened to get dhs involved, they told us that if we didn't like it, we could find a new daycare. there was also a problem with our youngest child coming home with bite marks all over her. once again, nothing was done to address our concerns. at one point, they tried to tell us she had an anger problem, but then proceeded to explain that "whenever she gets bit, she hits the other children." we finally got tired of the lack of competency and moved our children to a new daycare.

I had 2 nieces who went to Kids USA on Robinson street in Moore. They too came home with bite marks and bruises on them just like the other people have stated here on these reviews. They were always dismissed with ridiculous excuses and being told that they were already there when the kids were dropped off, when we knew differently. They also came home with nail polish on their finger nails and hands. This was something my brother was very much against because he/we do not believe 5 and 7 yr old girls need to wear nail polish or have it on them, especially when the bottle says right on it "keep out of the reach of children" and as we all know kids put their fingers in their mouth and we just do not think it is appropriate. My nieces and other kids have had marker written on their faces and all over their arms,hands and clothing. Also during this time another class was taken on a field trip to the Omniplex (new name?). They lost a kid and could not find the kid. They had to get the Okc police and the police helicopter involved after the kid was missing for nearly 2 hours or more and feared kidnapped. The kid was found sleeping on the bus they rode to get there. Sleeping in a bus unattended for how long before they even noticed a kid was missing and then another hour plus while they searched for the kid. DHS got involved and the daycare was told that the "teacher" could not be left alone with a class while she and the daycare were on "probation". Anywhere else the teacher would have been fired but not at Kids USA because, the teacher was related to the director. Another time the kids were evacuated and the fire department was called because they smelled something that smelled like burning wire in the building. Boyfriends and or husbands of employees have been allowed to be"hanging out" in the building and go back to the class rooms. Some parents are allowed to "loiter" in the class rooms and the building unattended when they should be picking up their kids and leaving. The landscaping is not well maintained, they always have trash in the parking lot and on the grass. They do not put any deicer on the walk ways or parking lots for people picking up and dropping off kids or for the employees who have to carry multiple bags of trash out across the parking lot to the dumpster. The water does not drain off of the parking lot properly so there are sheets of ice or puddles of water all around the pick up drop off area. The parking lot is not well lighted for early morning or late evening drop off and pick up. IMO this place is as "ghetto" as it gets and I would not only not recommend leaving your kid(s) there, I would strongly suggest you find somewhere else to take them.
