My son was provoked by the director into hurting himself. She claims she did not provoke him and that I misunderstood what she told me she did but I also had this problem before with my oldest child, she claim she didn't say one thing but yet somehow I understood differently. Her only explanation is, this is not on her hands. She has been there for years so there is no excuse. And the owner can't do nothing for you she's never there, the director thinks she owns the daycare. Also communication is horrible it is not a priority for this daycare. The director just hires and throws any teacher in the 2 year old room who can't speak english so there is no efficient communication. It's crazy cause who is your child supposed talk to or express themself to. At age two, efficient communication is a must and essential to my child and any two year old. This is there prime age where they are still learning talk and loving to talk. They really need there teacher in this aspect to engage with them. A blingual teacher is a must! or have two teachers one speaking english and one spanish. Trust me I tried resolving all these concerns with the director but what I said didn't matter. Also the kids are expected to stay seated with no kind of interaction in the morning (they may have a movie on but it's never nothing educational) from the moment they open at 6:30am til around 8:30am (which is breakfast time) and then it's time to sit again and once they eat breakfast they are expected to sit again for circle time. And every afternoon your kids are expected to sit again for movie time. They should be entertained intellectually in a positve manner from the moment they open til they close. It appears to me as being lazy making these kids sit so much. The only reason they have 1 star is because they are overly friendly that's it. PS: Hi I'm just wanting to give a update from my original review a few weeks ago. This is for whoever is interested in knowing how my son is doing at his new daycare, after his bad experience at Kids Unlimited because quite franlky I'm very proud of his good behavior. He is doing great with switching daycares just like I said he would. For one he's not confined to a high chair anymore because he's supposedly uncontrollable. According to his teachers at his new daycare, he has not had any behaviors, including him not hitting/kicking the teachers etc. So that goes to show you how Kids Unlimited affected him and I blame the director for making a stressful environment for him every day. It would be nice for Kids Unlimited to hear this from his new daycare because he was labeled as out of control at Kids Unlimited and they said he has a long way to go but honestly I don't want my son to be associated with Kids Unlimited in any way. And according to the director at Kids Unlimited she couldn't get nothing done in her office cause she had to be in my sons class with his teacher because of his behavior. I now see Kids Unlimited was the reason for that too, he was so stressed. At one point my son was even losing his hair on several occasions from being in a stressed environment at Kids Unlimited. Sadly I had no idea for sure at the time Kids Unlimited was the reason but now I know for sure. I'm thankful and blessed he is out of that daycare. Every child is affected differently so if your concern is convenience! this daycare is great for the school district. The school bus picks up and drops off at the bridge for the daycare. Also this daycare is not dependable and they are very inconsiderate. They close for random things such as attending a graduation or they tell you they won't have a teacher for a certain age group one week because that teacher is on vacation. And they act uneducated they send your child home for any little sign of sickness with no fever. The director at my kids new daycare is very knowledgeable, in which is a plus. Every time I turned around Kids Unlimited wanted to know what the doctor said for everything. So even if he had clear signs of a virus they still want to know what the doctor said, so frustrating.
