My 9-month-old was enrolled at Kid University Prep inside Friendship West for one month. While the facility itself is relatively small and the classrooms are spacious, I believe there are some serious areas that need immediate attention—particularly in health, safety, and communication. Shortly after enrolling, my child became sick with diarrhea and then contracted Hand, Foot, and Mouth disease. While I understand that illnesses happen in childcare settings, what concerned me the most was the lack of transparency and communication. There were babies with 104-degree fevers being sent home from the infant room, yet no formal communication went out to parents until a full week later—after the virus had spread across multiple classrooms. In fact, I only learned what was going around thanks to another parent. The very next day, my child became ill. I informed the center on Monday, but parents weren't officially notified until Thursday evening. Unfortunately, it gave the impression that communication was delayed intentionally, possibly to avoid a drop in attendance (and revenue) for the week. As both a business owner and an educator, I hold high standards for health and safety—and above all, I would never risk a child’s well-being for financial reasons. That delay in communication was deeply disappointing. To be clear, this review isn’t meant to bash the center. I actually waited to share my thoughts, but after my child was out for a week and no one followed up with me—or acknowledged my concerns—I felt compelled to speak up. I care about the well-being of all children, not just my own. The center has potential, but they need: Stronger protocols for cleanliness, More staff in the infant room (too many babies), Clear and immediate communication when health concerns arise Overall, it’s not a bad place. But if you’re a parent who values transparency, timely updates, and a strong emphasis on hygiene—this is something to be aware of. I sincerely hope they take this feedback to heart and make the necessary improvements.

My nephew started attending this daycare a few months ago. The classrooms are a nice size and the staff seemed to be friendly. Sadly there are no bilingual teachers even though the previous review said there are and each time I picked up my nephew the kids were running wild and teachers were yelling at the children. This daycare has had Covid several times in the last 2 months and now my nephew has a virus and fever that’s highly contagious and the director seems to have no knowledge of it. One of the teachers informed me staff and students kept getting sick but the daycare failed to let the parents know and has not shut down to properly sanitize and clean : ( Don’t take your children here find a daycare that informs you and cares about the health and ware-fare of your children. This is a daycare not a learning center. My family has yet to see what my nephew has learned. My sister met another parent who informed her they felt the same way and will be relocating their children as well.

I cant recommend this place enough for your little ones. My kids have been going there since December of this last year and I've already seen an improvement in their speech and attitudes. The attention to detail from the staff is above and beyond.
