Heck of a year our son Cameron has had in VPK so far! A huge shout-out to Ms. Jenny and Ms. Selina! If these two ladies ever enter your child’s life, know they are truly a blessing. They are the best, loving, caring, and incredible teachers who genuinely pour their hearts into everything they do. We absolutely love this place and feel completely at ease knowing our son Cameron is safe, supported, and so well taken care of. What we appreciate most is how the entire staff makes you feel like family. We also love the wonderful families/classmates our son goes to school with. Such a tight knit group of kids. We are truly blessed to have found Kids ‘R’ Kids Southshore!

I enrolled my daughter in this school because of all the high ratings and reviews I saw. Kids R Kids Southshore has some incredible staff and others not so much. The teachers mentioned in most of the 5 star reviews are some of the ones that I agree and believe are amazing. Unfortunately, my daughter was not lucky enough to have them as permanent teachers in her classroom. My daughter’s class had some turn over, which is normal in a lot of businesses. What I did not like was the lack of communication and introduction. I was never told of who was going to be subbing in temporarily and when I would pick up my daughter, the person sitting with the children never bothered to introduce themselves. When I mentioned my concern via email, I was called by a “Spanish speaking” employee although I speak better English than Spanish. When I asked why I was not addressed directly by the director whom I’d sent an email to, I was told “my Latino families sometimes prefer to speak to someone Latino”. I was totally profiled because of my last name. The assistant manager of this school is super unfriendly and made sure she was “too busy” on her screen to even pop up and say hello and acknowledge the families walking through. I nevr understood how she was the face of the school. Ms. Julia, Ms. Paola, Ms. Yudi, Ms. Jay. These teachers took care of my child and I’m forever grateful for them. Those were the names that my daughter mentioned in positive light every day. Communication is so big to my husband and I. In a world with so many unfortunate things happening every day and what feels like more than ever, we just wanted to feel secure with who was taking care of her at all times. If I was introduced to two teachers and a few days later I see new faces, I truly feel it’s common courtesy to introduce yourself or for someone in the administrative team to communicate that with parents. For some people, dropping off their child for care all day is no big deal, for others it’s a big worry. Regardless of who you are, I believe everyone deserves the courtesy of equal treatment and open communication.

We are beyond grateful for Mrs. Jenny, Mrs. Ally and Mrs. Selina. They are truly amazing teachers, so caring, creative, and dedicated. Kalani is always excited to go to school and learn, which speaks volumes about the environment they create in their classroom. Kalani had been at home with me until we decided to enroll him in VPK, so trusting him with people who were once “strangers” was incredibly hard at first you know like leaving a piece of my heart behind. But from the very beginning, Mrs. Jenny, Mrs. Ally and now Mrs. Selina made that transition so comforting and reassuring. What means the most to me as a parent is hearing Kalani come home saying that his teachers tell him how proud they are of him. That encouragement and love make such a difference, and it truly makes my mom heart happy. We feel so lucky to have teachers who not only teach, but genuinely care about their students. Thank you, Mrs. Jenny, Mrs Ally and Mrs. Selina, for all that you do. 💛

KRK truly creates such a special experience for the kids. We are enrolled in the VPK program with Miss Jenny. Every day when I pick up my son, I see children walking out smiling and happy, and that alone says everything. My son is so happy and learns something new everyday. He really surprises me! As a first-time mom, sending my baby to school came with all the usual anxieties, but from the moment we started at KRK, I knew he was safe. That trust means everything to me. I drop him off knowing he’s loved, cared for, and in good hands, and that peace of mind is priceless. A huge shout-out to Miss Jenny, Miss Aly, Miss Selina, Mr. Kevin, and Miss Paula. You all make such a difference every single day. The kids absolutely adore you, and it shows. I know the other parents feel the same gratitude. I also have to mention the front desk staff. They are always so kind, welcoming, and friendly. I love that we get to share a laugh every morning. It starts my day off right too! Being greeted warmly every morning makes such a difference. While walking to class, we receive a warm welcome and good morning from the kitchen staff too who are always so kind. We are so grateful to be part of the KRK family. If I could give them 100 stars, I absolutely would.

This is the best kindergarten, a lot of programs for children, starting from 0 months. The most caring educators. You will be greeted with a smile and told everything you need, will always be in touch and always answer all your questions. My child and I are incredibly happy that we are going to this garden 🥰
