Kids R Kids has some of the best teachers in town! From our first day, everyone made our daughter feel welcome. All the teachers and support staff know her by name. She has made amazing friends and is learning so much! We have no doubt she will be more than ready for kindergarten next year.

Our 3 year old child has attended Kids R Kids Matthews since he was baby and now our second child also attends. We have always been really impressed by the lines of communication that is always shown to parents by teachers and administrative staff. We have always had a sense of peace with knowing that our children are in good hands and are being taken care of really well throughout their day. In every class that our children have been in including the infant classroom the teachers work diligently with the children to teach them age appropriate curriculum and it has really helped them developmentally. Thanks for all that you do KRK’s Matthews our children love it!

My son, Asher, has Sensory Processing Disorder and ADHD, and finding the right preschool felt overwhelming—until we found Kids Are Kids Matthews. From the very beginning, the entire staff has shown him so much love, patience, and understanding. They didn’t just “make” him fit into a set of rigid classroom rules—they adapted and tweaked their approach to meet his sensory needs. Even during his more strong-willed moments as he worked through figuring out his needs, they never disciplined him in a negative way. Instead, they kept trying new strategies until they found what worked best for him. The teachers here are nurturing, caring, and culturally diverse, and Asher genuinely loved going every day. They go outside multiple times a day, which has been huge for his sensory regulation, and we were able to add on three enrichment programs for an additional fee—giving him even more outside time and activities he loved. The splash pad is such a fun and unique feature that Asher couldn’t get enough of! The entire faculty deserves recognition, from the classroom teachers to the cafeteria staff—who make sure kids with special dietary needs are accommodated with care and attention. The on-site speech and occupational therapists have also been incredible, working with Asher in ways that made him feel supported and successful. The management team leads with genuine compassion, making sure every child is accepted, loved, and well taken care of. Their patience, flexibility, and commitment to children’s individual needs are unmatched. I will always be grateful for how much this school has poured into my son’s growth, confidence, and happiness. If you are looking for a preschool that will not only teach your child but truly see them, accept them, and help them thrive, Kids Are Kids Matthews is it.

Hands down one of the best childcare centers around. I’ve had 3 kids here for the past 5 years and plan to continue using them for the next 5+ years. Very low turnover on staff, reliable and compassionate teachers, and small class sizes give this center a true family feel. No ones a stranger here and your kids are known by everyone.

I cannot say enough about Kids R Kids of Matthews…from the front desk staff to the administrators to the chef to the teachers and staff! Our oldest attended summer camp 2 years. Our Middle daughter attended KRK-Matthews PreK, afterschool and summer camp from age 3 until age 11. Our youngest started at age 1, and she’s now 5 and just started Kindergarten and started with KRK’s afterschool program. I say all of that to make the point that there must be something amazing going on if we continue to have our children here. We absolutely love everyone. Our girls love to visit their previous teachers. Our middle daughter, now 13, still has 3 friends from PreK that she still has a friendship with. Now on to the educational preparation and social skills. One of the first big memories I have is when one of our kid’s teachers told me when I was picking her up that she was ready for panties! I was mind blown. They did an amazing job helping us truly start the process. We supported each other well. The way that our girls could read going into kindergarten was amazing. They were very prepared. There is so much that I can say! The summer trips were fun and even educational at times (don’t tell the kids lol). Another highlight is the food. They have great/healthy options, that the kids actually eat. I learned foods that my children ate and I had no idea that they would even eat them! They have the camera system, you get updates throughout the day via a system Tadpoles, also text and/email. They do an end of day report that shows you valid info for the day. We have built relationships with the teachers and staff. They’re genuinely compassionate people. You know they love your child and truly want the best for them and their education. They are responsive to needs or issues. Let me just say, when I walked into KRK July/August of 2016, I had high expectations, but they have exceeded those expectations! They continue to raise the bar! I’ve gotten trust and peace; my children get love, support, encouragement, all things needed during these fundamental years of development! I’ve learned what I needed to do to add to that development during these fundamental years, and they provided those resources. I LOVE KRK MATTHEWS and all of the special people that make up the team!
