Kids Place Child Care Center

My son was enrolled with this facility from 04/25-09/25 when we moved to this area. Previously he was in a daycare in Athens for a year and a half before we moved, never had any issues at that place. In the 6 months my son was enrolled at Busy Beez he was involved in NUMEROUS (10+) incidents anywhere from biting, hitting, kicking and bullying. He is fully potty trained but still somehow had accidents 2-3 times a week here, I don’t know if they just refused to let him use the restroom or he was too afraid to ask. One time he was sent home with my mother in law with #2 in his underwear and up his back, dried like it had been there for hours (He has not had a single accident in the 3 weeks he’s been at his new daycare) He also learned terrible phrases that he would not have heard anywhere but the place he was at 50 hours a week. He was never very happy to go to school but it was our only option at the time and we didn’t have a choice but to keep sending him until we found a new daycare. The owner was not very kind and never had any solutions to any of our issues with this facility citing “kids will be kids” when any physical injuries occurred. She was very dismissive of our concerns. You are not allowed to go back to the classrooms “safety concerns” and you don’t get to interact with the teachers very much. I do not recommend this daycare at all. I would not trust anything in their care.

We love Busy Bee Learning Center!!! I was so glad I made the switch. My child is always doing something crafts projects or games, along with him learning a 4k material! Also have had 3 other children in the infant and 2s class and they are always so happy. My kinds love to know what going on so naps might not happen. But I know when I drop my kids off they are taken care of like I would take care of them. They are family to us!!!

I love this place, this is like a 2nd home for my daughter. My daughter enjoys being here and the teachers are all wonderful; they are caring and have a nurturing personality! They treat us like family! My daughter always looks forward to going to school everyday.

But now today 2025 year I saw there Not have no more busy bee day school? Anymore What happen? Are you go moved there new building new busy bee day school? Right? Just I wants asked you questions that's all. I know I missed there busy bee day school.

My two year old son’s teacher was so rude and mean and said my son cried all day, even in his sleep, but that was normal and that he never eats, but that’s normal too. My son would start crying and screaming as soon as we turned on their road and made himself puke as well. I also have a 5 yr old, his teacher never communicated or talked, the owners told me she was from Nigeria and still learning the language barriers and USA culture?? Then when I pulled my kids out, they lost my kids clothes and admitted to my face that they gave my wipes away to another teacher that said she was out of wipes and needed some. I asked to be reimbursed, they said I needed to speak to the owner, so I did. She told me she would get with the daycare the following business day and be glad to help me with my lost items, I never heard from her again. They also have this rule, where parents aren’t allowed to go past the front desk at check in and check out and make your children walk to their classrooms by yourself. I was not comfortable with my 2 year old walking to his classrooms by himself and it was the last room down the hallway!
