Cleanest room, great food, amazing staff. So kind and fun. Close to beach some open front. Awesome game room and gym with so much to do. Ice cream shop and coffee with snacks and treats. It is always a great time. And shining for Jesus!!!!! Perfect!!!
Overall, this conference center offers a great program for those who choose to participate in the offered religious services. The food was drastically improved the last time I attended from previous years! The room servicing has declined so much that no room cleaning is offered during the week-long stay. No fresh towels, no bed-making, no trash takeout, no vacuuming, nothing. Any towels, tissues, toilet paper, etc, needed must be acquired from the front desk, which isn't always open. The included breakfast ends every day at 9 AM, when it should end at 10 AM. The waiting list for this conference center is about 15 years long, so if you somehow fail to renew your annual commitment to this place, you won't get another spot (hotel room or rooms) for about another 15 years. I don't know why it is so popular, but it is. There is only one ice machine on the property, and it's about a 10 minute walk (round trip) to get ice from just about anywhere on the property. This conference center is somewhat cheap compared to the other nearby hotels, but it should be better, or at least try to get better...
A wonderful location in a great town. Enjoyed the views, the host retreat center has great facilities, meeting areas and rooms. The food is tasty and carefully prepared, and as I understand they have begun a culinary program! We had our conference gathering and speaker in the area above the check in desk. I enjoyed also going to the beach, walking the town and seeing a few shops.
If you've been there you know... it's a great location (walking distance to the beach - some rooms with oceanviews on the waterfront) with friendly and helpful staff. We were there for a conference and the meeting rooms, dining hall, food, and lodges were all clean, setup well, and ready for us.
This place is absolutely amazing! I so much enjoyed my stay! The food was delicious, the service was exceptional, the venue … better than I expected or imagined and the view? Praise God! You can see His mighty hand at work in the beauty and power of the ocean, which is only about a block away depending on which building you’re housed in. We overlooked whale beach and it was fantastic! We got to see a baby elk too! A wonderful place! The staff at all the buildings were very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I will definitely be back, God willing.
